Loved it. I'm cussing at my football team at the moment (edit: the first half was frigging painful to watch), so I won't be quoting my favorite parts beyond liking how you handled going after Okeer, and John asking if they could keep the "pet" krogan. (I loved the latter especially.)

Ditto on the "can I keep it? Can I can I?" It seems when he is not in charge John devolves to a 8 year old boy.

LOL. But I think he's an 8 year old all the time. When he's in charge, he's merely an 8 year old with a gun in the body of an adult. Case in point: Any Quentin Tarantino movie. Sure, he's learned camera angles and all that stuff, but it's secondary to the Explosions!

I love how close this Mock Effect 2 is to the first one, in terms of style. I know that's pretty selfish of me, but what I mean is - the Jane and John characters really are the same people, and it's nice to read them. Thank you for including the lead-lined fridge!
The 'my eyes are up here' line killed me. And the bit about the Blue Suns having not quite mastered the 'hide behind suff' descipline!
"I’ll stay here and do what has to be done.
JANE: Really? You want to stay here and die of asphyxiation? Because we could just leave either of these giant doors open, or break the huge glass window, and it would be a moot point.
OKEER: No, no. That would be cheating."
Absolutely brilliant. I have too many favourite bits in this chapter. You're doing very very well with this parody, Clint.

That's good to hear. When I post it over on Bioware, I'm only allowed to post it in the "fan club/ character creations" forum, which has so many fan threads there's no room for new posts. It fades away before the day is over. I have to keep bumping it to get it even 50 "read" marks

It's a damn shame FF.net won't allow scripts. This ought to be getting read and reviewed.
But then - if FF.net allowed scripts, this site wouldn't exist. And that would be rubbish.

I found this place though quotes of Mock Effect on Bioware's boards. They still crack me up.
