I based the appearance of my manShep off of Ray Park as best I could, and kept expecting him to have a British accent. : P

Well Glow I agree Meer sounded pretty flat in ME1. He has a lot less experience than Hale too. I thought he really improved in ME2. But then I pick up on people's vocal tone very easily and his delivery in ME 2 was something I was able to accept as genuine. Hale sounded a little forced in places. This is my own subjective opinion of course and I am not trying to start some kind of Hale vs Meer flame war. God damn you and your reasonable opinions linders. It really doesn't help that it's very hard for me to make a custom manshep that doesn't look like a Gears o' War reject.

I do remember liking Hale better in ME1 and Meer better in ME2. But I also remember liking Raphael Sbarge better than both of them in both games. That's the way it is. >=O

Well if I really tried I could attempt to be a bit more trollish, but I don't think the family here is big enough to feed me if I went troll. ;D So I guess I'll have to stay reasonable and annoy the heck out of you that way. Please let me know if I have hit the right note. On topic, I suck at using the facial generator. The best I was able to manage was to take one of the presets and turn it into a weird combination of my dad when I was young and me. Not nearly as handsome as that sounds, trust me.

This is why I steal other people's ideas for faces...

Elric was my favourite fantasy hero. But then I grew up. >_>

Elric was my favourite fantasy hero. But then I grew up. >_> A little too EMO for my taste. I was partial to Corum among Moorcock's heroes. He was kind of EMO as well but at least he did not kill his friends and blame it on his sword.

Okay, so I'm not the only one who had a hard time trying to like the Elric series (for basically the same reason linders just mentioned)? Phew.

Heh he probably wins an award or three for being the smartest person to do epically stupid things. Letting himself get betrayed not once, not twice, not three times, but 4 four times by the same avaricious cousin. And all in one book. That has got to be a record for epically stupid behavior.

Why do I never know what everyone else is talking about?

I don't play enough games, read enough books, know anything about anything or write hardly any fanfic these days....
It's a good job I'm such a god-damned awesome moderator.
SADNESS.

I know how you feel (especially with regards to the games). There's always stuff out there that I find myself saying, "Well damn, I didn't know about that!" Seriously though, IMO, if you haven't read Michael Moorcock's "Elric" saga, it's not the end of the world. Hell, you could probably get away with just reading the first book in the series (if at all) and survive. Used bookstores are your friend... (or the absolute devil to your VISA ).

Used book shops are heaven. But I have so many books, and have read so few.

Very OT, but when I was a teenager I thought Thomas Covanent was my favourite (anti)hero. Man, that guy was seriously f**ked up, but he came good in the end.
