With the Lair of the Shadow Broker DLC landing on 7th September, continuing Liara's personal quest, I'm interested to see what events take place. My fan-fiction, Nos Astra Nights, also touches on Liara's pursuit of the Shadow Broker, and though I wrote it before LotSB was announced, it was written such that it shouldn't break any continuity with regards to LotSB. Of course, I'll not be able to say for certain until I've played LotSB for myself, at which point I'll post a follow-up. If anyone's eagerly awaiting LotSB, is gagging for more Liara and Broker action, and hasn't yet read NAN, you can check it out here: Nos Astra NightsAs always, any comments and feedback are much appreciated.

*Spoiler Alert: Nos Astra Nights and Lair of the Shadow Broker*
The third part of NAN takes place just prior to when Shepard recruits Samara in ME2. In this third part, Tirahin meets Liara in her office in Nos Astra. If the player plays LotSB before recruiting Samara, it means that at the time when Tirahin meets Liara, Liara shouldn't be on Nos Astra - she should be on the Shadow Broker's ship. Dang.
So how do I explain that Liara is back on Illium to bump into Tirahin? She forgot something. She needed access to data on her old terminal. Something like that. And the dialogue between Liara and Tirahin is deliberately ambiguous so as not to betray what may or may not have happened by that point. It's a bit of a hack, but I could buy that.
Just shows the difficulty of writing fan fiction that ties closely to the games, and still tries to remain consistent with every conceivable way that the games can be played. My next ME story will be intentionally away from the game plots, and if I can get a good enough handle on UDK, it will be in machinima form.

Cool, an asari dancer who's not just eye candy! Well done! The only quibble that I had to mention was the reference to "neutral pelvis" in chapter 2. I'm a bellydancer, so I know what that means, but non-dancers might look at that and say, "Huh?"

Hi battlechantress, thanks for the feedback, glad you enjoyed the story. Regarding neutral pelvis, I understand it is also a posture adopted in certain therapies. I didn't know it had a role in bellydanincg...cool. I would also say that it's not a bad thing to read about something and not know what it is - it happens to me all the time But that's surely how we discover new things? Thanks for taking the time.
