And for the record, why haven't they gotten Nathan Fillion or Alan Tudyk doing any of these voices?! If Halo ODST could get them all together for one game, why can't they do the same thing with ME3?! =D ME3 ought to have a couple of surprises in the voice actor cast, just as ME2 had (Tricia Helfer, Adam Baldwin -- am I missing anyone of note?).

They also had Michael Hogan from Battlestar Galactica, who played Captain Bailey.
BG is an excellent show, btw. Probably my second favorite behind Firefly. xD

Right; I forgot about Michael Hogan.
Battlestar Galactica: I was blown away by the 2003 miniseries, hooked with the first season, liked the second season. Then during the thirds things were turning pretty annoying, with all that 'character development' (read: drama! soap!). I remained hopeful throughout the fourth season, until the final episode... which was probably one of the worst conclusions I've ever encountered. It had me cursing for days.

I think if they threw Alan Tudyk into ME3, I would die of happiness.
(However, they already have one snarky pilot, so...)
Speaking of angsty loyalty missions, I really want a loyalty mission-type look into Joker's life in ME3, but would be rather sad if it was the cliche family deal.

Heh, I would be delighted to see a Red Sand junkie for a party member, actually.

ME3 ought to have a couple of surprises in the voice actor cast, just as ME2 had (Tricia Helfer, Adam Baldwin -- am I missing anyone of note?). There was whatshername, Trinity from the Matrix. I was thinking, and one of the things I would love in Mass Effect 3 is a short personal mission for Chakwas. I know she's not a squadmate and can die on the suicide mission, but I really liked her in Mass Effect 2 (That brandy quest was great AWESOME! \ ;D/ )

I adored that brandy quest, too. One of my favourite bits of the game, seriously.
I honstly hope there's no krogan this time. I dunno, it just seems like Shepard finds a way to get a krogan every time. Seems disproportionate.
More than anything, I would like a female turian.

I want a batarian squadmate, I can just see the bitter conversations you would have, with him (or her) spouting off all the horrible things humanity did to the batarians, being distrustful of Shepard, then slowly growing to form a bond of respect with her. It'd be great. Wrex really hammered home the fact not all Krogan were mindless thugs, and I'd love to see the same done for the batarians.
Also, I'd like fewer human squad mates, in a squad of 12, we had like 5 in Mass Effect 2. A smaller squad overall would be nice too, it felt like everyone had less dialogue because of the greater squad size, and I had almost half a dozen people who only got off the ship for their loyalty missions.

I'm in agreement with Mr. Glow on that. Okay, one could argue that we were supposed to have a good sized number of folks to go up against the Collectors, but how many did we *really* need? How many biotics did Gardner have to cook for again that we ended up not even using 95% of the time? I tried to mix it up with the squad on missions as best I could (just to justify picking some of these people up in the first place), but even then, Jack, Miranda and Jacob rarely left the ship.

Thirding that. In Mass Effect 1 I took everyone out on missions at one point or another, even though I had my preferences. But in ME2 I just alternated between Miranda, Garrus, Tali and Thane, depending what kind of enemies we were up against. (Thinking about it, I should have used Grunt's muscle in some cases, too).

Battlestar Galactica is fantastic. I kinda modelled my female Shepard off of a redhead Starbuck =D
Anyhow, I'm wondering how the squad members from ME2 will carry over into the next game, considering that any number of them may have died during the suicide mission. I hope we'll be able to have more say in whom we bring along in the future.
Other than that, I'm kind of getting sick of some of these characters who've been in the last two games (save for Joker). Both Garrus and Tali are well-rounded and complete characters (in my humble opinion) but I'd like some brand new squad members.

If we going to have a female turian squad member, I cannot help but to say this:
I want her to be voiced by Laura Bailey.

I had to look her up, then search through her credits until I found something I'd heard (Fallout: New Vegas). You have a point. She does sort of have the voice you'd expect from a turian, sans the special sound effect, of course. Also, I've previously said I'd love to see Michael Ironside in Mass Effect as some sort of krogan character, but I take it back. You know who he'd be perfect as, though? Garrus' father. He may have absolutely no significance to the plot, and Garrus was ambigous about whether's he's even alive anymore, but come on, listen to his voice. You can hear it.

Actually, I agree with the Michael Ironside suggestion, his voice does sounded like the Senior Vakarian. Come on BioWare, Garrus' family reunion in ME3! It's about time that he's allowed to speak for himself that ain't slacking around the whole time.
As for Bailey, apart from New Vegas, she also well known for Bloodrayne. I would still like to see her play a role in ME3... preferably a female turian. Imagine this sort of voice as a turian girl!
Well... maybe not the best example but she had a nice voice... compare to FemHawke *cough*
Edit: Better example of her skill here.
