Yes, I know you probably read the title and are thinking; "Lies. Our venerable leader has clearly gone insane", and ordinarily, I wold agree with you. Because yes, it is completely inconceivable that Justin Bieber could ever sound tolerable to the ear. However. Follow this link. Someone took a Justin Bieber song and, using some fancy software, slowed him down 800%. It sounds epic. (I have also acquired this software - my new favourite hobby is going to be slowing down songs and making them sound also epic. "Down With The Sickness" sounds really creepy. "Panic Attack" by Dream Theatre sounds pretty cool and scary.)

Hey I listen to Dream Theater too. Wasn't expecting that in our little group at all. *Downloads the software* I got to try this on a couple of songs.

Wow, two other people who know of Dream Theater. I might have to download this software, but do you think it could save this mess? Saving Abel Tries to Sing the National Anthem... Hilarity Does Not EnsueWhat the hell was he on before they pulled him off of the bus and stuck him in front of a microphone? Justin Bieber would've done better than this! (Scary thought, but it's true.)

Hearing that atrocity(I could have done better and that is a HUGE insult to him) I am glad not to have,

To be fair, I only know the one song of Dream Theatre's, thanks to Rock Band...

You still know more about the band than most.

Now, I don't know what any of you kids are talking about. And I only have the vaguest idea who Justin Bieber is - he's a very young singer who everyone online hates, as I understand it!
But that track was fantastic! xD

He's a 12 year old lesbian, masquerading as a teen boy, but nobody is falling for it. Also, his music is terrible.

Twelve-year olds shouldn't be allowed to make records.

Buch, I posted a couple of Dream Theater vids in the music thread. *Thinks* Watch the second one first. If you are feeling like you can have more then watch the first.

I must be living in Mars, because I've managed to get the gist of the internet hype against Justin Bieber (via roflrazzi & twitter) but never actually listened to his stuff.

Me either. I'm good at avoiding such things.

Well I don't listen to commercial radio, don't watch any of the "Idol" shows and avoid any sort of "music television" like the plague they all are to people of my tastes. So it is not hugely surprising to me that I have been successful at avoiding any of the pop trash that has come out in the past 5 years. Jonas Brothers-nope, Justine Beiber-nope. Ke$ha-nope. All just names on a billboard with no meaning to me. It's bliss really ;D
