Ever wanted to know every single solution to solving the Rubik's cube? Well, now a few researchers can show you how: videogames.yahoo.com/events/plugged-in/study-uncovers-every-possible-rubik-s-cube-solution/1407748Do they even make Rubik's cubes anymore? I don't think I've seen them anywhere besides a TV screen in at least ten years. And why did researchers feel a pressing need to find this out anyway? Why not spend time trying to find out what's REALLY in Taco Bell menu items? If my brain keeps coming up with questions like this, I'm probably gonna be up for a few more hours again.

Yeah, there was a recent surge in popularity of the Rubiks cube. My sister bought one...

There are Rubik's cubes around! I bought one last year from www.rubiks.com/. I've also seen them in toy shops, although it looked like the one from rubiks.com is of a better quality. The colour stickers are pretty stable and don't smear colour on your fingers (I've seen that happen). As for the solution, that's something I've yet to manage.

I solved one once....many years ago when I was a pup when they were still fashionable. I doubt I'd have the patience for it now!!

Yeah, I used to have one too. I remember getting to the point where I was getting decent at it (I was 7-8 when they were popular, maybe younger), but I bet I'd be forced to give up after a while now.

I had one as a kid, too. And the cheat book that told you how to solve them. And now it's been mathematically proved that any combination can be solved in 20 moves.... sheesh.
