My archaeology professor couldn't stand Indiana Jones, since he doesn't record the provenance of anything, nor does he take any care to preserve the stuff he finds. I hated that class. -.-

Indiana Jones is above the laws of nature and logic.

You know, I'll bet Indiana Jones got more chicks than your teacher. He's just jealous.

I have a really difficult time choosing between Raiders and the Last Crusade as my favorite. I think that both of them were really well done. I do remember very fondly wanting to be Indiana Jones when I was growing up... cough... and now (said quickly under my breath)
Temple of Doom, or Doom as I like to call it for short (not to be confused with the movie of the same name starring The Rock)... Maybe I should call it something less confusing for short... Hmmm... Temple could probably be confused with something else as well. I guess I'll go with... Of.
Okay, so Of, as I like to call it for short was a good movie, but I don't think it was up to caliber of the other two. I guess I really didn't feel the story or mythology the way I felt it the other two.
As far as Crystal Skull. It's definitely not the best of the four, but I honestly think that people harp on it a bit much, and (again, it had it's issues) but after so long I'm not sure that any new Indy film could have lived up to the expectations that fans had built after so long.
Just my two cents... actually, I'll pay you next week...

A gripe I have with Skull is that it's all CGI. In Raiders, it may not have been Harrison Ford hanging from that truck, but there was at least a stuntman there. When Shia LeBeouf swang on vines with the monkeys, it was just a computer-generated-image of a douchy actor.
