This one was tougher. I had to keep Jane's sarcastic attitude going while still impressing upon her the hole she's in. Thoughts? Attachments:

Great chapter, I liked the Lost references and the 4th wall stuff especially, and now that you bring it up, YMIR mechs do remind me alot of Big Daddies!

Hey, I never watched it either, so don't feel bad. I figured Jane has more or less 'clued in' on how proverbially screwed she is. Her brother, on the other hand... there's no hope for him, is there?

Well God only knows what the leftover crap was that they put poor ol' John to bring him back. I say let him enjoy himself. At least he is actually helping rather than hindering so far. Looks like Tali might be making some kind of cougar leap on him if he is not careful while stalking the likely unattainable Miranda. ;D

I think John is going to have the time of his life. Jane might not be able to have quite as much fun, given her knowledge of imminent doom.
Not sure how to do EDI though, I want to bring Clippit back, but EDI is too vital a role to simply replace her. Here's one gag I came up with today:
BLUE GLOBE: Hello, Shepherd, I am the Normandy 2.0’s Artificial Intelligence; the crew likes to call me EDI. Mainly because I told them to, and if they do, I leave them alone in the shower.

Oh and one more thing.

This reminds me of an old scene about Legion on one of the old Garrus fan threads, about how Legion was watching Shepard get out of the shower. When confronted by Shepard, Legion replies that he wants Shepard to "remove the towel. We are building consensus". Disturbing, but funny if you remember how Legion talks about using a piece of Shepard's armor and can't/won't say why in the game. Or maybe it's funnier because I'm not sober right now.

Oh and one more thing. *Fires M-290 CAIN at Linders general area* *Watches shot sail over my head and explode harmlessly 60 feet away* Was that a warning shot or should I help you find your glasses?

Boy, the Cain took out the entire bridge trap on the Thane Recruitment mission. You really think 60 feet is far enough?

I forgot to mention I was hiding behind Garrus' couch in both cases.

I didn't know waht to do about EDI, either. BTW Clint I really like the way you brought Tali back.
And the real estate thing is very nice.
