That was very good. Am I the only one who was reminded of an episode from 'Scrubs'? You got every character exactly right - Garrus, Joker and Thane were favourites of mine in that regard. Mordin was magnificent, and I think I'd subscribe to that definition And Joker's one was awesome. Absolutely brilliant reference. EDIT: With Jacob's one, I was expecting him to sadly remember Miranda. In the game I always wanted to know more of how he felt about that. If you romance her, he says something along the lines of, 'She deserves a better man than me' and sounds very sad.

Thank you! Mordin's is my personal favourite and the one I wrote first. ^_^ I'd also subscribe to that definition...This was a challenge to me because some characters, *coughthanecough* I had never written before and probably will never again. It's one of the few times I've bothered to put Mass Effect music on while writing, to try and get the feel right.
EDIT: Oh right, Jacob/Miranda. Meh. I don't like Miranda. And most other people I wrote about their loyalty missions, so....
But that is a good point and something I'd think about if I ever tried this sort of thing again.

I do that music thing! When i wrote my longest ME fanfic, I had the end song from the first game on, over and over, for about a month ;D

I love that song.
Lately I've been writing to Lady Gaga, which...well...we'll see what result that has.

I love that piece of music too, it resonates somehow, and makes me feel a certain way when I hear it.. all the best music does that, I think.
As for this piece, I loved it. Like Mr Buch said, you were able to capture the feel and personality of each character in only a few lines, no mean feat at all!

Well, everyone here have pretty summed up my thoughts about the piece. You nailed the characters pretty well and some of their replies are classic especially with Mordin, Joker and EDI.

Thank you! Joker's was actually one I had the most trouble with. I'm not sure if some characterization was sacrificed for the in-joke. XD

I don't think so - at least it really came across in his 'voice'. But even if it had taken away his character, I wouldn't have cared after that gag xD
