Why, oh why does my favorite band of the recent decades have to go and play at E3. Years ago, I would have been excited that Jane's Addiction was playing at a video game convention center, but now I feel those two mediums were best left separate. It's even worse that they're playing in Activision's booth. Nothing I can do about it, I guess. I still prefer the early days of Jane's Addiction where they channeled Iggy Pop, Joy Division, and the Rolling Stones, and didn't add so much studio flair in their studio recordings. Each of their albums got even more poppier than the one before it. Though I'm excited for their upcoming album that they're recording with former Guns n' Roses bassist Duff McKagan, I still can't help but dread it as well. See ya later, stoned out, rocking raw JA. We'll miss you. I'll miss you.

I've never heard of them! But this post makes me sad, anyway.

It's always sad when bands sell out. =/

That sucks man. We all lose bands to the mainstream every now and then. *looks at Coheed and Cambria*
At least you'll always have their old albums. =D
