I loved that. Well done. That seemed to capture EDI's outlook and level of sort-of detachment very nicely.
It was clever but not show-offy, and easy to read. I like the style of writing, I guess is what I mean. Suited the character and the setting very well.
This was my favourite bit- liked how you compared the races-
Humans seem so frail. So buffeted, so clothed in the thinnest skin. (Turians have scales, asari have bright pigments—humans are naked.) Their instincts should tell them to run when danger comes.
Camera 155 [Engineering, minus 1.5 days]: Flight Lieutenant Moreau, lying back and wincing, did not run.

Hehe, I know it could come off as show-offy. I'm glad that worked. I'm very proud of this one and haven't managed to do something else similar yet (although I'm working on it.)
