So did anybody hear of this? I just found out about it. Apperently this is a small dlc for DAO where your character died during the joining and Alistair took charge and gathered everyone to fight. BUT you don't help Alistair you play as a hurlock vanguard and you command other darkspawn while trying to take Denerim. Here's a link to the page. dragonage.bioware.com/addon/#darkspawnchroniclesI am going to get this because it's only $5 and I know I'd enjoy being on the darkspawn's side for once. Hell I still have to get Awakening too...

I think there is something wrong with me. I was waiting for Dragon Age to come out forever. It is a great game and I dumped a lot of hours into it, but I was never able to get myself to finish it. Now I am having trouble just starting a game. I'm trying to ignore it for a bit in the hopes of resparking that interest again. Keep me posted on the DLC. BTW, I somehow cannot imagine Alistair motivating himself to do anything useful without some to prod him along. Does that make me a bad person?

I guess Alistair really had to suck it up and become a leader in your place since he's all alone. But still with me doing the archdemon's will and without my character to help him Alistair will fall >:] Also I'll let you know if it's any good once I get it.

I think Alistair gathering an army against the darkspawn and loghain kinda cheapens the original story. Makes the Warden seem a bit pointless. And yeah, I find it hard to imagine Alistair doing anything without a nurse.
I don't fancy this DLC actually. I think we've now reached the limit on how much stuff I'll buy from Bioware. I've never been fond of 'what if' and 'alternate universe' stories in general, and this looks a bit dull. Fight a battle you'vealready fought, as the other side... meeeh. The combat isn't what I play Dragon Age for.
I don't think I'll bother. But I'll be looking forward to that review, Hodster!
