Neither do I. I fail in literature trivia again...
/facepalm
EDIT: I do have another news, still on the dark side but it's getting slightly better in regards to Uni.
I'm now officially on defer, signed the last papers down.
But today I got a call from the Head of Games Studio for the "At risk meeting."
Well before I've left, I've sent them a letter to them regarding my situation and according to the letter it talks about my 'disability' that causes me to have certain problems in my progress. It's puts me into a new light, so now they wanted me to come in so they an see if there's a way they could help. I know I've should have told them in the first place in my very first year but there are ligitmate reasons why I'm holding this condition back fo so long.
Now. The whole story behind it is that I've didn't wanted to be looked down. I wanted to be treated equal as my friends in the class when I first step into Uni. You can say it's part of my pride, as I didn't want to be pity and all. Besides I look normal. So I've kept it. The result? My marks suffered and as part of my condition, I've panic. But my pessimissum and cynical outlook didn't burst out until this year when after my ex had dumped me for another girl... that's when the red mist falls in.
So yeah, after it all burst out I had to see the counselor and she suggested me to send this letter to the head of games studio and it result of that.
/sigh. Sometimes I wondered myself how did I landed this condition in the first place...

Pardon me, but what's the disability?
Also good that you're officially deferred. Definitely that's going to turn out to be a good idea.

Don't laugh. I got four words that describes about this....
Autisum or Asperger Syndrome
Not sure sure which is which. But I was being diagnosed as a kid. That might have contribute well, my lackster in communications skills especially verbal. Still trying to improve it including my craptastic grammar.
Another thing that irritates me, besides my lack of common sense with reacting the right timing in subtle moments like facial expressions and voice tone, is instinctive fear reactions. I breakdown more easily in intensive situations like assignments due date, exams, etc; than a normal person would.
God I feel like a whining emo git now saying it...

I hd a friend who had AS, and I often wonder if my brother has something similar. It is no laughing matter.
Sounds like a pain, and certainly something you have a right to whine about.

I was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome at age eight, actually.
It's certainly something to warrant "whining" as you two call it, and it's a fairly serious condition.
I've evolved past the label and received speech therapy and socializing tips from my older brothers who happen to be big party animals and socialites, so I pass off as a normal person by anybody who meets me. I still have trouble with an attention span, however.
I evolved past the label, and I don't even consider myself to have aspergers syndrome anymore. It's a label, a status symbol, and I refuse to carry it with me.
EDIT:
Also, Tillian if you have trouble communicating with people, which I used to have, you might want to consider trying what I did.
Find some movie character you like (in my case it was J.J. Gittes from Chinatown), and practice and emulate his/her speaking style and demeanor. It worked for me, if you have trouble inventing yourself (which I did).

Well I stayed up and watched GameTrailers for the Mass Effect 2 thing. When they showed it it was only 30 sec long and I'm like that was it? But I go to their website and find this jewel www.gametrailers.com/video/exclusive-reveal-mass-effect/52551Spoilers: OMG SHEPARD REALLY CAN DIE? ? I thought they were just jokeing earlier but now hmmmmmmm. Well looks like I'm going to sacrifice one of my Shepards. The space exploration looks amazing and the combat is just awesome. And the Normandy got owned like the USS Kelvin did at the beginning of the new Star Trek.

Yes s/he can.
Damn it! I hate it when bioWare instills the hype rush again! >.<
I love the new exploration system. I can't for it! Scanning plants real time and moving your starship around!?! Too good to be true.
Pity about the Normandy, such a good ship she is. /sigh.
Thanks for the heads up Hodsters

In the end I bravely withstood it. I want the game to be a surprise as much as is possible.

I'm not watching any of the videos or any of the hype. I'm too poor to be looking forward to game releases. I should probably update the News Poetry...

Small piece of news!
I'm getting my ear pierced tomorrow! It's a pretty big step for me because I have a really intense phobia of needles and anything needle-like (to the point that I haven't had any of my vaccinations since I was 15, and if I go to the dentists, I'll have all the work done without anaesthetic). It'll be the top of the left ear, and I'll post up pics once it's done.
And on a side note; it looks like I fucked up the colours of any Links; they are appearing in blue instead of black like the rest of the text. I'll try and fix that... EDIT: Fixed!
