Just wanted to plug away about my new fic, which is a Star Wars one this time. I've wanted to write a SW story for ages. www.fanfiction.net/s/5620643/1/A_Thousand_GenerationsIt's a little adventure story set shortly before the original film. The villain is Peter Cushing's character from the movie - I think that alone makes it worth a read.

That reminds me... I really need to create an account on Fan Fiction dot net already.
I'll be sure to review once I get through doing it.

Yet another plug for my non-Mass-Effect writing. Tell me when they become insufferable! This Star Wars story of mine was cancelled, then brought back and cut short - and now I've started it up again - and actually intend to finish it. I've had a burst of inspiration after not writing for a long time, and I have the first four chapters written and published. www.fanfiction.net/s/5743979/1/A_Thousand_GenerationsGrand Moff Tarkin is still in it, people.Plug over.

I haven't read a lot of SW fan fiction, but I'll definitely take a look at this.

I was actually reading the first couple of chapters the other day, and was starting to get into it. Good work so far Buch.

I glanced over it on FF.net, and it is written very well. You can handle the Stover-esque stuff without it sounding like too much of a copy. Please blame my lack of following that story on the ME focus, not on any lack of skill on your part. I like how it's got female main characters, and parallels the two in the first two chapters.

Thanks very much! For some reason I'm forever writing female protagonists. I tell myself I'm trying to balance out the numbers, but I bet you Joss Whedon tells himself that too. ;D
And yeah - I am trying to channel Matt Stover.

LOL! Whedon <3 But you know what, I write about far too many male protagonists--it's hard for me to be interested in canon girls or to make OCs that don't end up being me. So, at least you do balance it out, lol.
Everyone should.

Hello again! For my first post back, I will say that the story is turning out beautifully so far. I keep seeing you writing for Star Wars one day, but as Karpyshyn depressingly put it: He had to write two novels and a bestselling RPG before they'd let him near the franchise. So...get on that, then. =O
