I've never thought I'd say this but...
I'm willing to shell out 7 bucks to see FemShep to fight in a dress of some sort. I Think that would be hillerious and cool at the same time.
I guess that's a good enough reason for me to get the Katsumi DLC when it comes out...

How many bloody characters do we need..... - Kasumi sounds interesting enough. However, she DOES look a LOT like either the new Assassin's Creed protagonist, or Luminara Unduli, or a standard dark Jedi. 'Kasumi' is a Japanese name, isn't it? I think... If so, she'll be Shepard's first Asian partymember. I would also like to point out that sucessful thieves don't dress entirely in black, with enormous, suspiscious hoods covering every part of their face except their distinctive lip tattoos and glowing eyes. Kasumi means mist or fog. There is a Japanese sword waza called Kasumi in which you stalk an opponent in thick mist. It is part of the advanced or Okuden set of waza for a particular sword school. It's somewhat similar to the waza Shinobu in which you stalk your opponent in completed darkness.

Ahh there you go!
And yeah, I too would pay good money to have Shepard in eveningwear. I think it's a great idea having Shepard fighting without armour for once, and I do hope there is also a dress.
How marvellous would it be to wear these outfits on the Normandy? I'd just like to wear something without a Cerberus logo on it.
And the 'mister Bond' thing was magnificent.

Hey guys, those of you who get Kasumi, give a review please. I have thought about getting it, but it needs to be a cracking good add on for me to justify what they are asking for it.

I'll be getting this, for sure. She looks like an interesting character to me. And I like to waffle away with my opinions so don't worry I'll review.

It looks like there IS a dress, and Shepard, like every other female in Mass Effect 2, finally gets the chance to fight in high heels. I got the red ring of doom just in time! Hooray!

Honestly, I'm buying this DLC for the dress / suit alone. I would just like to see Shepard wear something nice. And it'll really come in handy for the Morinth quest.
I just paid for it. Expect a puffed-up amateur review shortly.

Review! I think I managed to avoid spiolers... but I do pretty much outline what the quest involves from a gameplay POV.
The completely unspoiled review is - pretty good. And cheap enough. Just another loyalty quest, but quite a witty one, and Kasumi has neat special moves.
----
Kasumi (who does indeed seem to be Japanese) is an interesting-enough character. I still think her massive hood.... and habit of announcing her identity, face and plans by public loudspeakers.... make her extremely conspicuous for a thief, but there you go. She has lots of cool stunts she pulls in the cutscenes, and a nice backstory. She also has very good new skills - a stealth assassination and flashbang grenades. I found both of these a lot of fun.
And the villain appears to be South African - so this quest really ups the nationality and accent counters!
The quest is brief and surprisingly combat-focused - one of the things that annoys me most about Mass Effect 2 is how every problem in the galaxy is solved by hiding behind a table and shooting a whole bunch of Blue Suns, Eclipse or Blood Pack people. Apparently master thievery is no exception.
But there is some nice James Bond stuff at the beginning, which makes this quest a little different. There is a room with cool real-world artefacts, as well as a cute Dragon Age reference. You get to kill guys dressed in a suit/dress with a concealed sidearm, break windows and press secret buttons. And Kasumi's cloaking-based spin on the old 'super thief seems to vanish and appear in random places' cliche is really nice - in and out of combat she was constantly surprising me. I shot at her at least four times!
At the end, as always, you have to make an interesting decision, and this one is pretty good - not consequential but nice and kinda dramatic.
And I got to keep my suit. Which is cool.

She's kinda like the back stabbing little red riding hood, with her new loyalty outfit, that Katsumi character.
Otherwise it's a good value for a short DLC and the new Locust SMG gun that comes with the DLC is actualy a lot better than most Assult riffles in the game, the DMG output might be 'slightly' weaker than the tempest gun but it has a high accurate range, even at long distance, so it's worth it for other classes that have to rely on the SMG guns like the adept, infiltrator, engineer, sentinel.

It was worth the money to get this DLC I'm having a blast with Kasumi and her backstabbing attack I'm also loving the new threads! Edit: Plus you now have a bar on the Normandy! Time to get wasted while on duty

I love that Backstab attack of hers, too. The way she uses the invisibility thing in the quest is also awesome.
