Hey why am I faint of heart?! I liked the sex scenes! I thought they were totally appropriate and tasteful and fun.

Hehe, your Beta profile on ff.net did gave out a warning.
I have to admit, the love scenes are tasteful, especially for a video game. I don't see the fuss about it. I reckon they should concentrate on other things to whine like certain books that are much more offending than this. (and I'm not going to name them due the fear of being attack by an angry mob of fangirls.)

Hehe, your Beta profile on ff.net did gave out a warning. Did it? No wonder I get no requests I might have a look and make it a little less prudish-looking. Hell, I'll write a love scene right here if I have to! You're right - there's nothing wrong with the scenes in Mass Effect - Fox News just happenned to pick on ME that day rather than Grand Theft Auto or whatever. There are books, films, and indeed games with much much more explicit content and lower age-ratings being published everyday. Fox were just misinformed and ignorant.

Interesting in the beta profile that you mention how you tried to avoid any sort of explicit writing in your profile. What made you ask the ff.net dwellers not to send those writings to you? Bad experience when you accidentally stumbled onto one of the pieces in the past? Or the fear of writing technique that came from the sender? Just wondering. As for the pathetic ME love scene fisco, now I dislike to preach my rant but I'm going to do this once because my temper is kinda flare up recently at the thought other adults who are 'misinformed'. So here's my rant in Zero Punctuation style: What Mass effect teaches the gamer is to treat your love interest with respect at least. It teaches you to be polite, be nice to that npc and the love scene is justified the idea of treating your love interest with respect that promote a healthy relationship. Yes, the game is flawed when it comes to that since it's not as deep as some of the other rpg games that have that mind set in npc relationships but as least Mass Effect has the integrity to show what it means to be equal in relationships. (Hell, I don't recall a time that Male Commander Shepard smacked Ashley over the head or Kaidan putting a restraining leash onto Female Commander Shepard, at least while they are both in a relationship anyways). There's I've said it. Sorry if I gone out of the line. I was pissed off recently about a certain vampire love story series has more a submissive overtone messages in the books, where most ppl overlooked and instead praise up to the point of recomending that damn book to the school curriculum in English classes. Now would you excuse me, I'm going to duck my head in cold water to keep my head cool off again...

Ah I wondered if you were talking about that series You're right - the relationships in Mass Effect are healthy, loving and serious. In Liara's case, you're even procreating! No, no particular reason. I might have over-reacted with that profile - it's just that occasionally I come across fanfic that is basically porn. I didn't want any of that. I've got no problem at all with love scenes. Maybe I just came across badly. I didn't know anyone had even looked at my beta profile, so I'd forgotten all about it. I never get offers (though me and Knightfall occasioanlly beta-read each other's stuff.)

Yes, the dreaded T word. I know I should stay away from the books but my sig sums up the idea of "Bile Fascination" besides, I've read a lot of high quality books, so it's about time I need to read bad ones to study on how not to write a fiction piece example. No, no particular reason. I might have over-reacted with that profile - it's just that occasionally I come across fanfic that is basically porn. I didn't want any of that. I never get offers (though me and Knightfall occasioanlly beta-read each other's stuff.) I don't blame you about the romance shipping content it has. While I was reading TV tropes, about the fan fiction topic, I've stumbled an detailed explanation of the nature of "lemon" fiction (*ahem* another term for porn) and the popularity of it. I think part of the reason why you didn't get much request is due do most fan fiction writing are based in erotic shipments and probably most of the authors of those shipments have checked your beta profile and steer cleared from you due to being polite enough not to hassle you with their slash fics that have lemon elements. I hate to say this but Original and General fan fictions are by far one of the more elusive species in the fan fiction wilderness. Still, I'm kinda surprised that no one asked you for beta reading requests considering you wrote some of the best original fictions around. Maybe someday I'll send you my other pieces after I'm done with The Human Flock once I know how to send the piece on ff.net (I'm still a n00b at it).

Well, I didn't want to be the first to say it... but you're right. I'm a genius. Feel free to send me anything - I'd be flattered - but you could always just email it. It would be fun I think. I still haven't got around to reading the Human Flock though, but bear with me.

New info from Casey Hudson himself blogs.ign.com/BW_MassEffect/2009/04/30/119240/At the last paragraph, he says: "Oh, and I’ve heard some rumors that Commander Shepard is dead. Better not be. We had a lot of big plans made, so if someone’s gone and killed Shepard then things are going to take an unexpected turn…"So does that mean Shepard is still alive and kicking some ass till the end of ME3 or he's being vague again about the "unexpected turn"? GOD DAMN IT! I can't stand the tease any longer! >.<

Awwww.... crappers, I've should have run into the ME forums first to see the fuss.
Anyways, I suppose everyone in BioWare feeds themselves on the anxiety of their fans, with Tim Tams and beer as a side dish. >.>
And yes, BRING IT ON E3!!!!!!!

Thank goodness. I thought you were in favour of Twilight for a moment there.
I saw the Miley Cirus one too - great stuff.

Thank goodness. I thought you were in favour of Twilight for a moment there. I think I just puked a little at the very notion... Alas, my sister is a Twilight fangirl... the shame.
