Has anyone heard any news about these? I remember Bioware sounding very determined to make ME a trilogy, and I'm really looking forward to these games.
I don't really keep up with game news so I was wondering if there have been any announcements or plans for more games?
Heard anything?

Not last time I checked. I imagine there would be something of a hoo-ha about it on the forums if there was any news.
I'd expect more DLC's before a sequel though...

I've heard that Gametrailers are going to post up their recent interview with BioWare about Dragon Age and Mass Effect 2 (gasp!) tonight. I'll get the link when I get the chance. EDITI've found two Alpha footages for ME2 that was shown in the 2009 GDC gamevideos.1up.com/video/id/24193Cutscene Developmentgamevideos.1up.com/video/id/24194Combat Development

Well now!
First off, nice one Tillian! Thanks for linking those.
It would appear from the first video that we visit Coruscant at one point! Also I see a guy in N7 armour, so hopefullythat means Shepard is still alive.
The combat looks pretty much the same as in the first game, whichI think is a good thing. I am terrible at shooting games, so I am hoping ME2 will keep the simple combat.

Cheers, if you look carefully at the first part of the cutscene development, I saw Nassana (from the Asari Diplomacy side quest) being mention in that cutscene. Now I know this a bit crazy but hopefully that means even the side quests will affect ME2 too but that means a little more effort in the coding. We'll see how it goes.
As for the guy in the N7 amour, yeah let's hope it's Shepard, still alive and kicking during that time.

Yeah I noticed Nassana Whatserface too. I think it's a good sign. Also - flying cars!

I owe you a drink Tillian.
More crew, more romance, some interactivity with the first game and the Illusive Man! Dragon Age looks terrific too.

Very nice Tillian. I actually got up last night to watch game trailers then when it was over I just went back to sleep.
The 3 main things that I found interesting was New Romances, The Illusive Man will be in it, and that when you import a Shepard from the first game that the beginning will be different then if you just start a new Shepard on ME2.
I can't wait! I also want Dragon Age Orgins now ;D

Same here with Dragon Age although much to my dismayed both ME2 and Dragon Age are slightly close together with the release date... god how I can finish up two games? Anyways, despite the official forums are currently moaning over the lack of info on Shepard's fate, I'm actually happy there's more info given out about the game and at least they admitted that they will finally reveal Shepard's true fate in E3. Besides, at least bioWare is much more generous in giving out info than Blizzard *cough cough*.

Thats why I'm not on the official forums as often (except to see if there is any new news or new wallpapers). And agreed with that BioWare is more generous then some others....

SO true! Thats why I'm not on the official forums as often (except to see if there is any new news or new wallpapers). And agreed with that BioWare is more generous then some others.... Yeah, especially while Blizz is showing off their flagship game WoW, I had to wait for quite a bit to see the news for Diabio 3. And their shoddy excuse "When it's done." Pffft, I can see your ploy in milking out more cash from wow, Blizz. Funny enough reason why I've finally gone cold turkey with WoW in the first place is because of the teaser for ME2. Yeah, speaking wow terms "I've qq and /ragequit" WoW because of Shepard's demise. As my friend put it once, "Nothing can beat the trailer." As for the BioWare ME forums, yeah they have it's bad days and all but overall imo the community are more nicer and tame tbh. I've quite enjoyed shoving a small flame here and there once in the while and Chris and the other moderators are not a bad bunch either. So yeah I do enjoy my stay on the official forums, it's a refreshing change from the other communities especially the WoW official forums. The BioWare forums is like citadel space to the Terminus Systems which the WoW forums represent in other words. On another note, I'm still supprise to see BioWare is generous with the info, since normally their business practice tends to be a little quiet and espionage style, due to the pre-caution of not causing a crap storm in the games industry. (eg: Molyneux and Fable; and Too Human from Silicon knights). I would understand if they tend to keep their doors closed for quite a bit since the Games Industry is kinda like walking on a tightrope. If you did something to screw your reputation, you're stuffed. Hence BioWare's habit to keep their mouth shut quite more often than certain other game studios.
