I remember all this talk from Bioware when ME1 was due to come out, and how they practically had to "shoe horn" the game onto one disc. Well, it seems someone lost that shoe horn, and both the Xbox 360 and PC versions will be getting the game spread across two discs. It's like we're slowly reverting back to the PS-One days of swapping discs. Kinda crazy. =O kotaku.com/5418534/mass-effect-2-expands-to-2-discs-sometimes-3

I've knew it! The way they explained how much shit they pour in into this game, I've suspect right from the start of E3 showing, there's NO fucking way they gonna fit that much content up into one disc.
I suppose it's not a bad thing if that's the way it has to be. As long the quality of the game is still intect, I'm fine with it.

So will we have to put both discs in at the start, or will it tell us while we're playing when to change?
Double the amount of coasters if i don't like the game itself as well ;D

It sounds like there's only gonna be one moment in the game where you'll have to change discs. That's good, at least. I wouldn't mind doing it once (in comparison to the 4 or 5 discs that FF XIII has going for it). That would have been really cool to download it instead, though. I play all those open world games off my Xbox hard-drive anyway. =S

When i first saw you could install games to the 360's hard drive, i was pissed off when i found you still needed the disc to play it. The graphics on Garrus' face seem better some how since i installed Mass Effect 1, so i think I'll be installing ME2, regardless of the size.

Yeah, I was pretty confused when I found out you actually need to keep the game in there to play the installed game. It makes sense though, since everybody would just be renting games, installing them and moving on. I love that feature, though. It especially helps with big, graphics heavy games like Assassin's Creed II and Fallout 3. I hardly, if ever, got lag or crashed in either game. I did the same thing with Oblivion recently, and it's like I'm playing it for the first time, lol. I just got Dragon Age in the mail today (though I can't play it until Christmas >=O) and with ME 2 coming out in just a couple months, I'm gonna be one happy camper.

I'm really looking forward to some personal time with ME 2. Its coming out at the perfect moment. I hand in my research project, essay and installation proposals a couple of days before the release. I'm then left with 2 weeks of nothing to do... but play Mass Effect!!!!! Daniel is not having the xbox until I'm done!
