The third book of the Darth Bane saga/quagmire will be seeing the light of day on December 8th. The novel is written by Mass Effect and Knights of the Old Republic lead writer, Drew Karpyshyn, and will detail how Darth Bane continues the trend of something that can only be called "galactic mischief." Fiction has never looked so evil. I know this because "evil" is in the title. xD starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Dynasty_of_evil

If the book is half as good as that description, it'll be worth it. I will be reading this, but I hope the Karp brings Bane's story to a close with this one. The other two weren't exactly the best books... but I enjoyed them. I have to say, title aside, the cover art is by far the least terrible of the series! The second book had THE worst cover I have ever seen. -- -- Also, I have this to show for myself- Dynasty of Evil.

I think the artwork of the thrid cover looks good especially with Darth Zannah.
Still as they say, don't judge by the cover of the books. I'm curious how this story ends.

Ah no, they're real. We're just mocking them because Bane himself comes across as a bit of a goombah.

He sounds it. I'd still much rather read your parodies than the actual book. Just the name 'Bane' makes me cringe. How cliche.

Yeah. Karpyshyn also named a villain 'Skarr' in the first Mass Effect book.
But in his defence - he did not name Bane. His hands were tied a lot by Star Wars lore and existing Bane stories - which didctated the character's name, basic story and several of the most ridiculous details.

And Skarr was a krogan, too - so that wasn't a nickname. That was his actual name.
Don't get me started on Skarr.

Buch, that pic was genius. You win an internet. I'll say it before and I'll say it again, I don't hate the Darth Bane books. I think they're terribly cliche' and underdeveloped coming from the guy who wrote KotOR and Mass Effect, but they're not bad at all. I will be reading the second one to get prepared for this coming Dynasty. I just love giving the guy a hard time. xD And I am still awaiting the day that Karpyshyn writes something completely original. I might track down his Forgotten Realms book just to see how he writes without a deadline. I killllled Mufassssaaaaaaaaa!

Skarr... I feel sorry for that Krogan. Did his mother got hit in the head when she named him?

We can only assume his mum only spoke Kroganese and had no idea that 'Skarr' sounds just like the English word 'scar'. I bet he got teased like mad at school though.

If he went to a human school that is... then again what human would tease a krogan?
