Well first I have to ask- do you like the Mako?
I think it's a great car, because of all the tricks you can do.
I'd say the Moon is the best place to do tricks.

lol, I don't know. That was probably the one aspect, besides the elevators, that nearly killed the game for me. I think it was over-utilized and the way it handled was confusing/frustrating at times.
I mean, nearly every level used it, and I could hardy find a reason for it sometimes. You spend like two hours on Noveria trying to get the garage key from that turian, only to get in there to find that somehow the Normandy crew had already gotten the MAKO in there. It was odd. Why couldn't they have just smuggled me in there with the MAKO, or better yet, circumvented the entire base and just dropped me off on the trail.
The only time I really didn't mind it was the Skyramp on Feros. It was straightforward and didn't last too long. But even then, I could take it or leave it.
Basically, I didn't care for it. I think it was a way for Bioware to be lazy, since they turned all those "explorable" worlds into a race track, essentially. ><

I'm not a big fan of the Mako sadly.
I hate navigating through the jagged mountains to the destination point, it's kinda irritating at times and it didn't helped that the uncharted worlds are kinda bit copy and paste template levels up to the extreme.

I think the Mako was fine. Not great. I liked some of the racetrack bits - the Skyramp was cool and the one at the end where you're timed.
I also don't mind exploring the uncharted worlds. I like to do that.

The mako ah... trying to get through some of those uncharted worlds was a screaming match. Me screaming at the telly of course. It pissed me off. All the time. Then you get to playing on Hard/insane mode and suddenly you can take more bullets than the Mako so it made it even more pointless. I was driving a few inches then getting out and running up to the Geth troops and killing them then jumping back in the Mako driving another few feet then stopping getting out and killing those troops... yeah no fun.

I liked the parts where you had to utilize tactics to overcome the enemy, like firing on the move or using defilade to evade shots.
I really hated chasing minerals through jagged peaks, falling off, sometimes getting completely stuck. It was annoying at best.
The power of sniper rifles against the Mako seemed too much, where one shot could deplete my shields or catch the Mako on fire where a rocket just dinged you.
