Hello! My name is Alice and I just found my way here from ff.net where I've been reading and writing ME fic. My XBox died when I was just a few 1000 xp's from 60th level and now I've got all of this time. I'm looking forward to reading some of the fics here.

Goodness! Another new member! I may have to make a Welcome Speech at this rate...
Anyway; Welcome! I am Rascarin, your Lord and Master. It's always nice to have new people.

We don't need welcome speeches, we can just keep re-posting "Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns N' Roses.
Better than any welcoming I can give. =D

Ha ha. We've all had a good joke made out of our names at some point. I suppose that's human nature. When I was a kid people at school had this rhyme about my name which to this day still makes NO sense to me. "Gracey, pacey has a shoe lacey." I would like to know what a pacey is... and of course I have a shoe lace. I have two actually! One for each trainer! My personal favourite one though was from High school and sang at me by a American-Pakistani transfer student, "Zars, zars has an arse!" You have to imagine this being sang from someone with a very amusing accent then attempting to use the English pronunciation of 'Arse'. If you can imagine this and put it together I'm sure you are laughign as hard as I was when this guy first said this to me.

My driving instructor had a truckload of odd nicknames for me: Christoffles and Buch of Earl (Buch pronounced to rhyme with Duke in this case) were my favourites.

In primary school, back in the days when little kiddies still sung hymns in assembly, among my classmates my name would always substitute "Hosanna" whenever it occurred in a song. It's more than a little sad that THAT was the height of hilarity back then.
