I'm trying to decide who is the ebst party to vote for. Its definitly not going to be Labour. I've not wanted them around since Iwas 15 and could understand pol;itics vaguely. The feeling as remain and grown strogner. I dislike Labour with a passion, but thats not to say I'm a conservative at heart. Far from it.
I believe in the original ideals of Labour but the way the aprty has turned I'd have to say they are almost parrel to the American's Republican's. Its just not the same as the original party, they changed and mutated.
That rather means my votes are to whoever can persuade me. Normally I've always agreed half-heartedly with Liberal Democrates as the outsiders but I don't trust them fully. Its like the lesser of two evils. Thats why I've eben really trying to keep myself in the loop and find the party for me over the last 10 years.
I was kinda pissed I missed the rescent Auropean and regional elections. I had decided upon the Green Party hands down after reading all the information I had at hand but it wasn't to be I suppose. Preston council really are douche bags. We all couldn't find the damn polling station ebcause it wasn't at the town hall. They hid it in some obscure part of Preston!!! Grrr.
So I've just spent the last hour reading up on the Green Parties full policies. They seem my kind of people, I even have a few two cents I'd like to send there way in ideas I've ahd over the years. They have a good solid base behind them from what I read and I do like the diea of another female Prime minister. One with a PHD to. I'm thinking of going to one of there conferences this Spring to check them out fully.
I've also had only a quick skim of Liberal Democrates so far but I'm less than impressed. Their website is a little confusing and I'm finding it difficult to grasp their polices. From what I've skimmed I've seen some good points and a few questionable but I am no where enar finished researching them yet so I'm not going to drop my eggs in anyones basket yet.
I'm trying to find some other parties aswell to look at. Obviously none of the facist and racist ones. I'm definitely not going there.
There was one aprty I voted for in my council elections when I was back in London that seemed like a fun bunch. They were called soemthing like, Mr Charles super duper fanatsic party party. I kid you not they really had a name like that. Frankly they only really got my vote ebcause it was either them, Labour, Conservatives, a single lib dem guy that creeped me out and the "Students drinking party". At leats I didn't waste a vote.
So anyway my question to everybody here is, what are you looking for and who do you think can deliver it?
