Good find thanks for the heads up Mr. Glow. I think you should have "Newsman" as your super hero name. Now as for this girl... I'm freaked out. Maybe because the advertisement (omg... they said the f word... in a sci-fi out of context sort of a way. Since I've do recall the developers tried to avoid using those swear words in fear that in the future that the word 'fuck' is going to be out of vogue in the futuristic English language.) Or I just don't like the idea of a psychopathic skank pouncing on 'my' Shepard. I can imagine Shepard said something in her mind as she recruit these rag tag super killer team: Great... I'm surrounded by assholes.Maybe it's just me but so far I don't really like Subject Zero. Still it's interesting and it's great to hear something leak out from the ME2 development.

*Sigh* Bored much? Here we go again the "We couldn't come up with any good characters or a descent female role model so heres a raging lesbian feminist with a gun." yeah thanks.... Not on my team thank you. I'll keep Wrex and Garrus. The broody one and the naive geek to go with my shotgun wieldign ass.

Ok fine... I think calling her a skank is hash but...
When I've saw John Shepard going after her with a cheesy grin... I've cringed... I cannot help pbut picture her as a teen or someone who is young enough to make me wanna scream about Shepard's psychological problems when it comes to sexuality... >.<

Hmm..... I have many opinions.
The character is kind of annoying - the way she's presented as if she's cool and badass in this trailer irritates me. She's clearly an emo git.
That said - I like that the character is unique, and something that the likes of Star Trek or Star Wars would never have the guts to include. I like her gang connections - this is something I find interesting about the ME Universe and want to see explored more.
Shockingly she seems to be a romance option?! Not sure I see that... but knowing the ME writers I bet they'll make this an interesting story and surprise me.
The costume is stupid. I don't want her walking around a military ship dressed like that. It would be ridiculous.
I like that she swears a lot - it's made clear by the occasional military use of the abbreviation 'FNG' that the F-word does exist in Mass Effect's world. This might put it up to an '18' rating though hey? Frankly I would find the character unrealistic and hard to believe if she didnt swear. When you're a psycho, ex gang member with a skinhead fighting for her life, you're going to swear a lot. So I like that.
Her voice acting seems kind of flat and emotionless. Not the best voice actor, judging by this clip.
Lastly - my biggest proplem with her is the name - Subject Zero. I really can't think of a worse name for a sci-fi character. Even Subject One would have been better. I think maybe they're thinking about Seven of Nine.

Thanks for the heads-up Mr Glow! And I love your new avatar.

A developer has said on the forum however that subject zero is a code or something and she does have a real name. also that you find her on a as of yet unrevealed story planet and Shepard doesn't actually have to recruit her, but doing so does increases the squads chance of survival. Also there'll be another squad mate reveal video in two weeks, I'm hoping to hear more about this salarian scientist myself.

I want an Elcor crew member! Thats bad ass!
Anywho, on the subject of Star trek not having the guts to go there... oh yes they did. Three times!
Enter Kira from DS9 folled by Belana Torres from Voyager but the original has got to be that lovable security officer from Next gen they killed off in a mundane way
Tasha! Whose background included growing up on a gang infested back water planet where she was a memebr of a murderous gang attempting to survive and had to live through her families slautering and rape. Star trek went there, saw it, bought me back a t-shirt and actually gave me a story line. Mass Effect... what have you brought me? A spork, how very useful *Sarcasm*

When I watched that vid I was like "HAHAHAHAHAHAHA THANK GOD"
I hate her personality but that is a good thing. See ya old crew I'm surrounded by the most dangerous people in the galaxy and this girl shows it. I have the best assassin in the galaxy who's calm and quite and you don't know what he's thinking. A krogan with anger issues (yawn). And now this bad ass who's in it for the fight and seems like a complete bitch. Honestly I think we needed someone like her and glad to have her aboard even tho I don't like her and perhaps a little scared. I'm all for this character!

Kudos to BioWare to finally made a character I've really hate on a personal level.
Despite the trashiness and psychotic overlook on this woman, I'll still let her join into my flock.
Now... all we need is space booze and popcorn in the game. BioWare. Give us those god damn it >.<

Space weed is the firast port of call. Get Shepard high on a mission and have him giggling at Geth.

Space booze for sure. My experience of space weed is lacking so I can't vouch for that one.
I still hate the name 'Subject Zero'. If the Evil Scientists were nameing their test-subjects by number - then why the hell start counting at Zero?! Who starts at zero? The first would have been Subject One.
For crying out loud.
