My sister recommended this site to me. www.givesmehope.com/ I refused to visit it at first, citing that it was a load of sissy rubbish. Boredom prevailed, however, and I eventually caved and clicked it. Turns out it IS a load of sissy rubbish, but in a good way. I had the biggest grin on my face reading some of those stories. And one of those funny internal smiles, too, like that silly, happy way you feel when you're visiting a crush. It was so inspiring, in fact, that tomorrow at work, I'm taking a block of Post-It's, and going to leave little messages on the doors of all the toilet cubicles. Just for the smiles. Rascarin, doing something happy. Whoda thunk it? So, you guys can share stuff that makes you smile, or feel smiley on the inside.

That's nice to hear Rascarin.
I've been bombarded by the doom and gloom in the recent late... I think there are a small glimmer of light thrown in once in a while.
I've realised wen I've posted up "Ballad of the human spectre" on the internet, I've got a positive reply from a guy on LJ that frequents the ME community on LJ. Turns out that guy was Patrick Weekes, a writer from BioWare and the one who accidently started up the Blasto Crazed. Yeah I've just realised that after I've looked back at my email and I've realise hang on... didn't I saw this user name before in the BioWare forums...
Recently I've played Pokemon again... for the first time in ages, I feel childish and young again. It reminded me very clearly why I've wanted to join the games industry in the first place. With all the constant debating about games in a serious tone, it's refreshing to play a game that reminds you the simplisity of a pure childish fun that what makes games well loved.
Also occasionally giving out some money to charities that are not fraud. The other day I've gave this guy who is raising some funds to help to train more guide dogs.

Rascarin, this is a very lovely website. I really like the story about the guy whose girlfriend found and bought his old stuffed toy for him.
It's nice to see peple celebrating pure, good stuff for its own sake.
Oh and that is excellent about Patrick Weekes.
A few weeks back I saw some folks out collecting for the cancer hospital that saved my brother's life as a little boy. I was reading in the coffee bar across the way and later talking to the friend I was meeting. The whole time I could see the guy outside, in the cold, dancing to attract attention. He didn't stop, and occasionally he would convince someone else to dance with him. We put some money in and got stickers. Still wearing mine!
EDIT:
I hope you did that at work today Scarramanga. Also - work? Did you get a job?

Ah, when I say "work", I mean working for my dad, at that school in Essex. And yes, I did graffiti the bathroom with my Post-Its!
