So it's been confirmed that a certain action in Mass Effect 2 will trigger an ending to the game where Shepard dies. These are the my predictions:
10. Shepard freezes in combat when looking up at a huge geth's eyelight, and the rest of the geth take him/her down in a frog catching technique.
9. Shepard, having no idea a HAL 9000 AI was installed on the Normandy, is intentionally killed via sleeper pod overcooling.
8. The USS Enterprise, headed by Captain Picard, exits a wormhole and crashes directly into the Normandy, killing everyone on board the latter.
7. Shepard receives the business end of vengeance from the news reporter... in the worst way possible.
6. Dies of cardiac arrest after finding an aged time traveling Kaiden in a cave of an ice planet, for some reason voiced by Gene Wilder.
5. Dies of internal hemorrhaging due to complications resulting from Garrus' new Hip-Hop hydraulics system for the Mako.
4. Is crushed to death by Wrex, not noticing that Shepard was sitting in the same chair.
3. Collapses from astro syphilis.
2. Joker accidentally flips the cruise control off of the Normandy, losing control of the ship as it crashes into the final location's surface after defeating the final boss.
1. Suddenly remembering the vaguest of images of the Prothean equivalent of the group "N-Sync" from the beacon, and unable to get the music out of his head, ejects him/herself out out of the Normandy's airlock in hard vacuum.

Depending on how many romances you can have I would say: Shepard gets a deadly Alien STD or The Geth capture Shepard and turn him into some sort of Geth Leader and the rest of his team are forced to kill him.

6. Dies of cardiac arrest after finding an aged time traveling Kaiden in a cave of an ice planet, for some reason voiced by Gene Wilder. Gene Wilder would be perfect for an aged Kaidan. It's only 6AM, but that made my day.

Is Gene Wilder still alive? I know a couple of years back I thought he had died but then he turned up in a movie... I don't know why I keep assuming he's dead.
