Not touche... fact stating! Big difference. Either way my nerves are very strained at the moment. Zars is not feeling well. Migraines are playing up, my calf hurts from running in the cold, my kidneys keep aching and my tummy hurts. I'm sure I am being a little touche for those reasons.

Ooo now I feel bad for you. I get this weird toothache in one of my teeth everytime its a hot day. Damn filling has fallen out and I don't want to get the dentist to stick another one in because he likes to jab me with needles. Mouthwash with flouride always helps me out there.
Oh touche!!!! Geezus I'm not in a good state of mind right now.

Yeah, toothache is awful. I am full of painkillers - most people would go to bed in a situation like this, but not I. My solution is to stay up, watch B-movies and moan.
I don't have a dentist, so I'll be looking around for one tomorrow if I can find time.

I don't offically have one anymore myself but Daniel's family dentist lets me sneak in under their surname. Otherwise its a 2 year waiting list and your not even guaranteed a place. Ridiculous isn't it.
I'm the same way with pain. I keep wanting to vomit and bang my head agaisnt a brickwall at the moment and my way of dealing with it is not to go to bed and watch movies/write all night. I'm currently plotting to write a piss taking romance fan fiction in honour of all tweeny writers.

2 year waiting list... God...
I hate dentists. Maybe there is some sort of emergency clinic. I can't sit around with this toothache for 2 years.
Seems like this satirical romance will cheer me up.

The romance you were thinking of writing! I am probably about to watch this film 'Moon' - Kevin Spacey and an astronaut stuck on the moon. Sounds good. Still up, Zars? ;D

Oh that romance... yeah I got distracted by Deadpool Fanfiction of all things then joined a naming contest for Deadpools assitant in this girls fiction. I entered Jacknife, Dreadpawn, Polar/Polaris and Alterego. Maybe I'll write that Romance now. I'm thinking of just trying to make one of the tweeny girls romance stories but show them how its done properly. Thats gonna be hard though because I don't do Romance. I do relationships.... big difference. Lets see anyway. I need ot pick a fandom to throw one into. The choices are Predator, Deadpool, District 9 and maybe Babylon 5 for laughs.

I've finally got Borderlands... in a pirated way. So don't you start yapping at me on why I've wasted money on it when it's false basis on it.
Oh and one other thing, guys, if you thinking about getting borderlands, refrain yourself from buying the PC version as it's the WORSE PC port EVER! You want to know how bad it is? The joystick option is still there on the PC setting menu. Great job on being sloppy guys!

Yeah but most smarter developers usually taken into some account that the majority of PC gamers uses the DEFAULT mouse and keyboard! Besides if I want to play on a joystick, I'd play it on my 360. I'm totally being honest here. (Btw, just get the 360 version, there's not much differnace between them.)
I'm not saying Borderlands is a crap game but I'm just nit picking at the developers who did a sloppy job on porting to the PC. Not only it's kinda blantant insult for PC gamers who are kinda of a dying breed but also the fact that it's a good indication just how lazy those developers are.

Well, the friends I have that play on their PC (which isn't much) use special gamer pads and ... joysticks. I'm told it isn't uncommon for a PC gamer to use a joystick unless the gamer in question isn't a member of the hardcore and typically play what he referred to as 'sissy housewife games'.
Before anybody tries to take this post out of context (which I've been having a lot of lately) I DID NOT SAY THIS! This is me telling you what my PC gamer friend Peter said. He's already had a magazine thrown at him by me for calling Morrowind on PC a sissy Housewife game.

Well Zars, I reckon you should throw more magazines at those people who played WoW. I think that game is officially certified as a sissy housewife game concidering I've been running into housewifes who had nothing better to do than playing WoW... I've kid you not. I've did almost get into the hot water once with an old guildie who was not only a 40 something women with two children but also the fact she's no.2 with the Guild master at the time. So yeah... WoW is not for hardcore gamers anymore apprently...
Anyway back to the topic of Joysticks on PC... I suppose that's kinda true. More so true back in the olden days of gamming where joysticks are more desirable than today. However, it's kinda rare to have someone who plays joysticks controlers on PC nearby me though. Even my course is games course, most classmates I know, prefered the good old keyboard and mouse. And they have a good reason why.
Certain games like stragety games don't work too well on controllers due to the interface and it's an old habit where we prefered the keyboard and mouse when it comes to shooters. It feels more natural for us. I don't know about you but I've played DA, I've just couldn't imagine you guys playing on the controllers since I've fell more at home with the keyboard and mouse. Same goes to Fallout 3. I've gave up FO3 on the 360 and store it away because I'm particullarly shit with controllers.
I suppose that's their choice but a game developer should acknowladge the fact there are PC gamers who love their keyboard and mouse input. Bethesda understands us, BioWare is willing to cater us with their excellent "conversion" of ME1 onto the PC and BioShock is good enough for the PC. Gamebox, the developers of Borderlands, what did they do? They kinda butchered with a sloppy port. Bad enough that we might have to force to either shell out more cash for the joystick controller of we can just say "fuck it" and buy the 360.
Then again... I've heard a bug where it resets your character back to lvl 1, from my friend's complaint over vent. The only way to fix it is to cheat... so I think I'll put up with the PC port then.
