So this show is probably the best thing I've seen on TV this year. Definitely neck and neck with Chernobyl. A scarily plausible near-future drama from Russell T. Davies, the cat who rebooted Doctor Who. You've got the main family, all, like amazingly cast, dealing with stuff like the refugee crisis, transhumanism and a merciless gig economy and Emma Thompson's character, a businesswoman turned politician who's basically a grab bag of traits from certified jamokes like Trump, Farage and Berlusconi, slowly rising to power as we move through the years.
Also probably helps I just became an uncle a couple of months ago, and can really relate to Russell Tovey in the clip above (being roughly similar levels of physical attractiveness also helps).

Man, the most recent episode of this was so distressing. Concentration camps on British soil level distressing.
