This game is good fellas. Thoughts so far:
Upsides: - Turn based combat is well done and hella fun, like the tabletop game - Campaign mode makes you feel really on board with the whole mercenary thing
Downsides: - I was completely unprepared with how deep Battletech/Mechwarrior lore is, and get a little confused. - Bit of a learning curve with figuring out how to manage your mech repairs, inventory, and finances. I felt like I was playing "Space Mercenary Payroll Clerk Simulator" at times. - Limp, uninspired OST.
All in all, I still recommend it.

it's on my wishlist. Wanted something like this since Mechcommander went defunct so many years ago. I'm glad the devs got to tell Harmony Gold to shove their copyright claims up their asses in court as well.

I'm starting to understand the lore a bit more at this point, as well as how to manage my C-Bills and shit. So I'm scuttling my reservations with the first two things in the "Downsides" section of my first post.
...the OST is still boring as shit though.

I'll give it a try when they put it out on the PS4 (God's Console).

I think they’re planning to actually.

Hmm... it looks like they're not after all.
