Sabaton: one of my favorite power metal bands.
Some of their brilliance.

Love that song too, Lily. What's awesome about Erock is no matter how hard he's going at it, he has that signature smile that shows he's enjoying himself.

That's one of the things I love about his videos, and his music; he always seems to be part of the music, he's just letting it flow through him and he's clearly having a great time with it.
There's this little grin and (sometimes a wink) he does right before he starts playing; his videos always start with a close-up of his face as he's leaning right into the camera... and the smile he has is awesome.

I may have shared this before, but here's German A Capella metal band Van Canto doing a couple covers. Please note that they don't use special equipment/effects for their sound. It's all them.

Going old-school this time. All the way back to the roots of rock.

I had no idea that The Animals covered that song.
That explains a bit though. That is an old school prison song the likes of which has not been written for the mainstream audience since well before I was born.

German A Capella Metal band Van Canto covering Bonnie Tyler's "Holding Out For a Hero".
Epic 80's pop song mixed with an awesome take on metal. I'm uploading it on my XBox as my fight music.

I need to splice this into ToR for boss fights and my World of Tanks games. Popping tanks with my Russian IS would be extra epic with song playing. Not so epic getting popped though...

For Russian tanks, I'd go no further than this:

Meh, you don't actually really roll characters in that game. Though your crews can get experience to get better at their major specializations. They can also learn special skills. I wish I usually lasted as long in a battle as that Sabaton song, but usually I am snuffed faster than that. There are historical battle modes but usually you pick whatever tank you want to run and the matchmaking system matches you with a mishmash of other players running whatever tank they want. So you might be in a KV 1 alongside a French BDR G1 and Pzkf IV H against a Churchill, M4 and a Chi HA.
The battles can last up to 15 minutes but are usually less than 10. Goddamn game scratches my very longstanding fascination with tanks in all the right and wrong ways.

Who I wish for every day, but know will never meet by living in Ratfuck, KY. Meh, at this point if my life started being easier than it already is, and I started getting what I wanted, everything would start feeling weird. o_____o
Also, did they film the music bits in Nova Prospekt? It has that defunct creepy European turned political/Sci Fi anomaly feel.
