What happens when a writer has a Wacom Tablet and copy of Painter in their computer. Well a ME fan art is created (in a disastrous way.)! So if anyone has some sort of picture that they drew from their inspiration from the game (even it's just 16-bit blobs), feel free to post in this thread and share it so everyone can see I'm going to start mine off. So enjoy. And yes, I'm torturing you guys with colour, due to downer ending

You're too hard on yourself, mate. You're pretty damn good! That looks EXACTLY like my first Shepard, right down to the eye shade. And I like your avatar too. Really these are very good. I'm not much of an artist, but I might have a go sometime What materials did you use for this?

Well I've used Painter IX for this one, it's mostly digital painting. For the program, I've mostly use tinting basic round to add the basic blocking of colours before I've used a modified opaque round brush in the oils section to smooth out the blocking. also I've added scratchboard tool in the pens section to add strands for the hair, then soften the strands with the opaque brush.
And yeah I've noticed a few Shepards are kinda eerie similar to mine, I guess it's due to the custom modeling process I think. As for the amour, I blame BioWare for the lack of amour tinting option. I hope they have some sort of amour modified options in ME2, physically.
(btw, nice shepard you got Caveman.)

Nice, infiltrator class is a fun class but I've never get the chance to finish it due to my enjoyment of tossing bartarians around like ragdoll for my other shepard.

I love the Infiltrator class. I like the sniper rifle and the tech mines, so. Oh so this was done on computer, Tillian? I thought it was painted.

Technically, yes. It's on computer but the program I've used did a good job in mimicking real life painting stokes of different mediums. That's why my artwork looked closely resembled to an actual painting.

Me too, that ones my favourite, I think. I tried doing a watercolour painting of it, but it sucked so I gave up. >_<
