I just came back from this and I'm wondering if anyone else did so as well? In my humble opinion...this is even BETTER than Avengers 1. More action, more awesome characters and their development. Also the promise of more to come is pretty damn sweet. Infinity War, suckas! It's a comin'!

European "I get to see it first" snobs! Just for that I'm pirating Jurassic Park World and telling you how badly each dinosaur dies.

It's actually kinda hilarious how we get Marvel movies first. I mean I saw Captain America 1 and 2 before it even premiered in the US.

But, but, it's called Captain AMERICA not Captain Europe.

It's a nice little bit of payback for North America getting every game three days early imo.

Hawkeye's cool, now?! Can they cancel Thor 3 and do a Hawkeye film? I don't think anyone would notice/care.

I have now seen the film and I have 2 questions:
1. How does a robot get lips?
2. With all of the tech available to the Avengers, why hasn't Black Widow obtained a better way of ventilating her suit than unzipping it halfway?
I enjoyed it, though the special effects were a bit overwhelming. Favorite moments include Hawkeye's conversation with Wanda, and the saga of the hammer.

Linders and I finally saw "Avengers: Age of Ultron, and it was awesome! I especially loved Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen as Pietro and Wanda Maximoff - and I was shocked and wept a few tears when Pietro died - though, to be honest, it wasn't so much his death alone that set me off, it was seeing his sister's reaction to it - her 'sensing' / 'feeling' his death, and her grieving screams. The way that scene was shot, with her screaming and falling to her knees and releasing her power like that, and all in silence... seeing but not hearing her grief - that was what set me off.
That's the thing that sets me off in most movies and TV shows when someone dies - it's not only their death, but their loved ones' reactions that affect me. I loved the funny scene with Thor's Hammer at the party, when the gang is all sitting around the table relaxing after all the guests are gone after the party... the look on Thor's face when Steve manages to make the Hammer shift ever - so - slightly... And I was thrilled that Paul Bettany's role in the movie was expanded on - Paul Bettany is awesome, and is one of my favorite actors for a reason - and every role I've ever seen him in just proves it more. All in all, great movie, and I will likely see it again - and definitely will buy it on Blu-Ray when it comes out.

I saw it Thursday night. I thought it was pretty good myself. Not better than Avengers 1, but it was big and the expansion I was hoping for with this series.
Now, here's hoping Infinity War is awesome!

I rather enjoyed it myself too. Now with 2 Avengers movies out there, I would kind of like to see a villain who is not a butt monkey though. Loki and Ultron both seemed a little on the Saturday morning cartoon "curses foiled again" variety. Which is fine as it is fun to watch, but the more I saw of ultron, the less intimidating and threatening he looked. I'm really thinking of when he was all, "oh for heavens sake" when the hulk caught up to him on his jet at the end. Classic Whedon dialogue, good laugh, a little out of place.
Good to actually see Paul Bettony-well sort of- he's a great actor and I like seeing him in damn near everything he is in. He can affect an odd way of moving that fit his new character perfectly.

James Spader was AMAZING as Ultron and I hope he comes back later...maybe even has a evil team up with Loki? Out of all the MCU villains both he and Loki stand out.
Vision is deffo a break out character here, i hope we see more of him before the next Avengers movie.

While Loki and Ultron did both have a bit of a butt-monkey status, they were still enjoyable as villains - I was disappointed that Loki was not in "Avengers: Age of Ultron"; I absolutely LOVE Tom Hiddleston as Loki - he's just freakin' awesome. And I still giggle periodically over the memory of Ultron's "Oh, for God's sake!" when Hulk caught up to him there; the tone of James Spader's voice and the inflection - just the delivery of that line was pure perfection...
