Dear mass effect fan fic user. I know this post isn't appropriate to your forums, but I thought its worth sharing. All of you must know that the PC versions of all three mass effect games lack Xbox controller support. Some of you might be aware that there are little work arounds that allow some functionality, but on a whole, some features are missing.
Over at the mass explorer forums (the modding community), a very bright individual named moonshine had been fixing the controller issue. He has fully integrated Xbox controller support for ME2 and has released it for free; and has also nearly completed mass effect three and is on the way with ME1.
Unfortunately his laptop has broke, and being a poor student coupled with the fact father Christmas won't be here anytime soon, the mod is in limbo. He has set up a fundraiser for a new laptop. Currently he's got £100+. Now if a few hundred people donate like single £ or $, the amount he's asking for isn't too much, and what is a single buck in the grand scheme of things? So don't feel compelled to donate more than a £1. And tbh, as far as fundraisers go, this is fairly cheap. However if you read this, then spread it round, the more people donate, the less everyone pays and then we all get controller support for the PC, which should have been in the vanilla game anyway.
So head over to the mass effect explorer forums. Search for "moonshine" or "ME2 controller support". Im not going to post the link here, find it yourself, read and see what he has accomplished
For the people who would say " use a K&M if your on PC" or "play on an xbox", don't bother. This is for people who want to use a controller on the PC, if your not interested then do something else. Thanks, and spread it round to your buddies.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm not much into gamepads myself but I can't speak for everyone. Guys to find this forum more easily try searching "me3explorer forums" Even google is a morsel twitchy about bringing this site up on a search for some reason.
