This is like Hollywood's equivalent of the unemployment office! Instead of a direct debit they give you a white samurai movie.
Also Cage is going for an accent in this one. xD

It's what killed him, too. They filmed it too close to the area where they tested nukes, and the radiation is what accelerated his cancer... (though the habits of drinking profusely and smoking didn't help)

There was a 20 year gap, it could have been either. No denying that the cancer rates on cast and crew were much higher than normal though. Howard Hughes was so ashamed of the movie he bought all the reels up and locked them away until he died.
