Be wary of policemen who look like a young Robert Patrick.

Sidenote: and the zombie apocalypse crowd called me insane for focusing on how to survive Skynet.

Further evidence we need to prepare for the machines: Skynet exists.

That those satellites have been around since the 60s meshes nicely with my belief that James Cameron has not had an original idea his entire career.

Actually, Skynet satellites weren't talked about on the unclassified level until after the first Terminator movie, as far as I know.

Huh, maybe he had a friend in the UKs program who let it slip. That guy has had access to all the best toys for a long time now. Bah! I just like taking the piss out of Cameron as he is about as original in most of his crap as Puff Daddy is with his writing.

True enough, though I do like how he pitched the first Terminator movie to the movie studio. He had Lance Henrikson (a personal friend of Cameron's) dress up as a T-800, kick in the office door and basically act like a Terminator for a couple minutes before going in himself to explain the idea behind the movie.
Trivia: Henrikson was originally going to be the T-800, but he didn't seem intimidating enough, hence Arnold being cast in the role. Additionally, Henrikson shares notoriety with Bill Paxton for being one of the two actors killed by a Terminator (Paxton was one of the punks killed by the T-800 in T1), a Xenomorph, and a Predator. Jeanette Goldstein is the runner-up having been killed by a Terminator and a Xenomorph (she played John Connor's foster mother in T2 and was Vasquez in Aliens).

I like to imagine Terminator and the Aliens/Predator Franchise to exist in the same universe. Plot being one day a salvage crew finds a planet filled with Terminators/Skynet machines who are using Xenomorphes as a Biological weapon or some shit.
