I realize I am posting this a tad bit early, as it is not yet November 11th here in Canada, but I wanted this to be here when November 11th starts. It's Remembrance Day in Canada (I believe the same is called Veteran's Day in the USA and Armistice Day in the UK). We honor those who fought for us, who gave their lives for us, for our freedoms and our rights. We thank you all, all you soldiers and other Military personnel for all you do for us, to keep us and our countries safe. We shall never forget. God Bless.

America-centric and more modern in terms of content, but the same sentiment shines through:
I already poured a shot of the best whiskey I can afford that I won't be drinking: it's not mine to drink, but rather for those who are no longer around to drink it.
