I do see Mui as wanting money above all else, but I don't quite see her as sociopathic. I see her as doing one nighters every so often. Maybe she'd strike up a casual sex relationship, but nothing futher. Definately not the marrying type.

always keep an eye out for my work in this thread, had one bad egg on fanfiction.net get under my skin and have barley written a word in a year as a result. You guys are a lot more knowledgeable so if i can stay off the bad fan fiction radar here i guess im ok.

Ok, i'll get flamed here...but i did sort of like this one.
I know, person gets sucked into a video game and all that...but hey isn't that cool?
I mean what if the video game is your coma, and you can only get out if you 'play' it?
Seriously, the author did an good job for the transition and how it would feel confusing for a person to be put into your favourite video game. The fictional characters are real now, and the actions you made in your game, actions that you personally didn't care as much about are now the most important ones you have to do if you want to make it out.
just my two cents
Edit: ok i did read Chapter 4, and it appears Shepard swithed bodies with the main character...which is odd, unless it's a daydream or something still.

I know what you mean, Doc. To date, I've gotten exactly 2 reviews for Halo of Flies and they're from the same guy who wants a "riding in the Mako listening to Painkiller with Wrex riding shotgun" scene... blech...

I definitely think there's something in the water (the e-water?) on that site. For example, my L.A. Noire faffiction, Cole Phelps The Fastwards Stroke recently got a review that not only took the story (which was written at least a month before the game was released, was 600 words long and about as serious as Garrus Questioning Beliefs) completely seriously, they also asked for more details: "good story but what about his partner?(I don't like Rusty)" Thinking of writing a sequel and pulling out all the stops to see if anyone can take it as a dramatic piece of noir fiction. |
