Jada Plinkett Smith is like super star power, like Sean Bean in Game of Thrones. Maybe she is just here for this season to get some star power before the narrative draws us in.

I felt that burn....ouch. In other news, Belgium TV has just reached Gotham episode 4. It's kinda nice seeing the old episodes again so you can see the rich tapestry in it's fullness...and it kills time. Like time killed the dinosaurs. Fucking hate time.

This week in Gotham.
1: Every van in this damn city is owned by criminal gangs. 2: One dude can make wearing a red hood look good. 3: The guy in the red hood is a fan of the Dark Knight....coincidence?! 4: Alfred turns out to have been mates with Fitzy from "The Departed", a thug who worked for Jack Nicholson's character. So you could say he worked for the Joker...Gotham brings everything together folks. 5: Who-ever holds Mooney imprisoned is a big fan of "The Strain". 6: Why do thugs follow their boss who just killed one of them? I wouldnt work for him anymore is all i'm saying.( Edit: This later gets rectified). 7: I love Donal Logue, missed ya comedy stylings buddy! You eat them pastries after sooting dudes! YOU are the hero Gotham deserves! 8: Dr Dullmahker....REALLY?! REALLY, GOTHAM?! You aren't even trying! 9; Robin Red Hood...-groans- 10: Bruce is being trained by the Irish bastard from Braveheart. 11: Butch is a real bro to Pengu! 12: Barbara's self pity continues...and she gives advice for Selina to become a sex object. GODDAMN THIS WOMAN! 13: Selina tells her to shove it! AWESOME. 14: Fish Mooney has a eye opening experience....sorry, you could say i was spooning for attention. 15: I told you Alfred was SAS! Bad ass motherfucker dude! I wanna see more of his backstory! 16: Donal Logue is to cool for the hypocratic oath! 17; Insert the "The final job is going to go wrong" cliche. 18: The red hood reminds me of that story bout some crooks trying to find Vader's gauntlet to have its powers and begin screwing each other over. 19: Alfred gets hurt pretty bad by Henry Howard, Earl of Surrey...and although we all know he'll be fine, i did like the drama there between him and Bruce. 20' So it takes a whole board of people to decide to go after Bruce?...Kay. 21: And the Red hood storyline continues! And it's left a lot more ambigious then last week's Joker thing.

They should have Bruce sitting in Wayne Manor watching Black Knight in the next episode. For foreshadowing.
It could even imply Batman later becomes a fan of the Martin Lawrence film canon. Maybe he learned his badass disregard for the law from Bad Bays, and his disguise skills from Big Momma's House.

This week on Gotham.
1: Guess who is back? Back again? Flass is back. Tell a friend. 2: Flass is a fan of the Hunger Games logo. 3: Gotham is a fan of House of Cards. 4: Gotham is fan of body horror. 5: Mooney has a new eye on things and her adversary is more comic book-y. 6: Bruce and Selina will team up to find Henry Howard, Earl of Surrey. 7; Gordon's GF hasn't been on screen for two weeks. 8: Ridler is being ridled. 9; Donal Logue is not the hero we deserve on this show, but the one we need. 10; Road trip to crazy town! Population, the lady who voice acted Super Girl in the DCAU. 11: New power dynamics due to House of Cards. 12: Harvey Dent has special lighting so he always has one side of his face obscured. 13: When Asian people bring knives to a gunfight, the guys with guns run. 14; I dont have anything for 14, i just hate the number 13.

That episode was actually pretty good by Gotham standards, though. We got to see Penguin step up and do something like the early S1 badass Penguin, and I'm pretty sure there was a Terriers reference in there somewhere (Bullock mentions hating a photo in his police file, and I'm sure the Donal Logue character in Terriers says something to the same effect at some point. Maybe it was just a coincedence, though.)

Well, if there was any doubt remaining that Fish's bizarre overconfidence in a situation where she holds absolutely none of the cards is about to get her killed, there it goes.

But who will play the gritty updated version of Egghead, Michael Chiklis or Dean Norris?

Prediction for Season 2:
Bullock gets booted off the GCPD, gets on the wagon and moves to Coast City (or whatever the DC equivalent of San Diego is). Becomes an unlicensced PI and shanghais Selina Kyle into working with him. Also Selina is now played by Michael Raymond-James. And this the new themesong:
Also they change the title of the show from Gotham to Terriers Season 2.
