I was just wonderng if anybody saw Wreck-It Ralph yet, and what you made of it? (It has only just opened in the UK). I'm really interested in the movie even though I don't think I would especially enjoy it. So I'm just curious about what it's like and if it's worth the ticket price - especially since one of the characters on the poster I saw yesterday is very clearly Commander Shepard:

I've heard good things about that movie though I've yet to see it myself.

My girlfriend said she wasnt Femshep...but she totally is. I know she hooks up at the end with a giy who barely reaches her waist so....

I heard mixed reviews, but then again MovieBob is a pretentious ass monkey snob that i only watch to virtually throw rotten fruit at.

I hear mixed reviews too - the consensus seems to be 'It's okay, pretty good I guess'. So I don't really want to see it, but at the same time there is a movie with Commander Shepard in it, and I want to see that.
From what I gather, I think the resemblance between Commander Shepard and Sergeant Calhoun is wholly deliberate but not very deep. Originally the character was supposed to be male and more of a Gears of War joke, but then when they decided to make her female the Shepard thing must have come in at the last minute.

Almost like how the option to have women PC characters in games throughout gaming history. IF so Disclaimer, obviously some thought was put into it with Mass Effect. You don't hire Jen Hale for chump work. But everything from the marketing to the animations took Sheploo into account far more than Femshep.
