Deadwood, S1E3 just waiting to happen. Don't go to reconnoiter the rim.

I feel like this offer is more of a veiled test or demonstration of some kind. Especially after that 'person behind it who dictates' remark.
But here we go again. Goodnight, Iron.

Not a vaild test or demonstration. You're reading too much into what I'm saying, Buch. And I'll shut up before we get going again.

And to lighten the mood... Don't think I don't know who you guys'll be trying to get ahold of when the zombies rise.

And to lighten the mood... Don't think I don't know who you guys'll be trying to get ahold of when the zombies rise. Oh, sure... like I'd be able to make it all the way from Nova Scotia, Canada to Omaha, Nebraska in the midst of a Zombie Apocalypse - I'm not a fast runner, have no idea how to use a gun beyond which end to hold / which end to point, and am not exactly graceful... I'd be one of the first unlucky bastards to be brain-eaten... ;D ;D ;D

I know a guy who knows a guy that is an avid collector. Apparently it would put the rec room of the gun nuts in the movie Tremors to shame.

I could meet you and Linders half-way.

Getting a gun license in Canada is nigh impossible for most people, but what you guys can get once you have that license makes us down here jealous most days...

Make that North and East. Over some of the toughest country on North America. That lonely stretch in between Winnipeg and Toronto has been breaking people for over 200 years.

Considering I spend most of my time in tech school in the mountains around San Francisco, I can handle rough country. The Rockies would put much of that terrain to shame.

It's not the elevation, but the desolation. The Canadian Shield is big long stretch of scrub trees and tundra. It's a morsel different than hunting where you are used to.

I'd have to make sure I'm stocked on rations (MREs and the like) and save them for when I can't hunt anything. The UP, though has some similar areas around Copper and Iron Mountain, though there's still plenty of deer, elk, and moose around, not to mention fox, wolf, coyote, etc. The trick would be to pace myself and not try to power through.
