That's 'legitimately' a really catchy little tune! Where does Jon get these expert remixers?!

I can't say I didn't see this coming. Way back when the first multiplayer dlc came out my friends and I agreed that if Bioware was going to make a new enemy faction that I would be the Collectors. So I'm not surprised at this and it's really not that far of a stretch to say there were other Collector ships out there away from the base but....
I wasn't really against this but have seeing Buch's rage and points I have to agree with him. The Collectors should really be dead or stay dead. I've argued with my one friend many times saying that the collectors were wiped out.
I can see them being in the Omega DLC. Something like you go to take back Omega from Cerberus but as you defeat them the Collectors come back out of no where and try to take over Omega and the Omega Relay.
Damnit Bioware.

Didn't Mass Effect 3's plot in general nullify the plot of Mass Effect 2? The whole mystery was that we weren't sure why Harbinger was building a human reaper by the end of the game, and in Mass Effect 3, there's no real answer. So he was building it 'cause he was bored or something?
If there was an answer, I may have missed it. o.O

There was a reason for the human reaper in the Dark Energy ending.
But in this one it seems that Harbinger couldn't wait a few months to start the harvesting so he had the Collectors start while he and the other reapers were on the way....

Didn't Mass Effect 3's plot in general nullify the plot of Mass Effect 2? And the first game's plot, too. (The boss Reaper living on the Citadel the whole entire time.) That was truly impressive shoddy writing.

Well he had to come down eventually, we killed Sovering and his other henchmen. Harbinger; Assuming Direct Control...because all of you cant do anything right.

Didn't Mass Effect 3's plot in general nullify the plot of Mass Effect 2? Maybe. I see your point. But Mass Effect 2 nullified the plot of Mass Effect 1 in the same way: If the Reapers could return in two years to a completely unprepared galaxy who didn't believe in them then what was the point of stopping Sovereign? Just to save the Citadel? The whole mystery was that we weren't sure why Harbinger was building a human reaper by the end of the game, and in Mass Effect 3, there's no real answer. So he was building it 'cause he was bored or something? That's the responsibility of Mass Effect 2 to answer, not 3. A game should provide motivation for its own bosses.

The point to stopping Sovereign was to stop the Reapers from coming through the Citadel, killing our leaders and taking control of the Mass Relays right there and then. By killing Sovereign we delayed the eventual galactic war for 2 years. I don't see why ME3 couldn't answer why Harbinger started constructing a human reaper early instead of just waiting until he and the rest of the reapers got there.

Well, his chief antagonist was dead, so what better use did he have for his minions?

Played the Collectors in this new multiplayer pack today and they are a bitch to fight. Never mind that I was pretty rusty from not playing in a while but they are tough. The seeker swarms they use really screw with power users a lot. They might be the new toughest faction.

Agreed... also, I kept glitching - I could not move, nor could I employ my "Shadow Strike" power a few times - I'd hit the right buttons, but nothing would happen. I got taken down so many times because I just could not move, and Linders and our other friend had to keep reviving me... I'm not usually so useless...

If it makes you feel any better, I've actually been experiencing some fairly severe connection issues with ME3 multiplayer since the release of the pack. It takes me at least two tries before I can actually find a game that won't disconnect on me before the match can even start, and that is extremely annoying. It really is.
