Not sure if Birdemic counts as a horror film but WELL DONE SIR!

I think it counts! But most of the movies I saw weren't scary at all, either because they're dated or because they're just bad. I really loved Birdemic though. I'm looking forward to the sequel.

"Re-Animator" was supposed to be based on one of Lovecraft's characters and stories, but they opted to "modernize" it. That usually doesn't work out well.
"Behind the Mask" sounds like the writer got the idea from "Man Bites Dog" (especially considering that the killer has a film crew following him around).
And "The Revenge of Frankenstein" was clearly made by Canadians.
Also, it took you this long to become a fan of Vincent Price? What the hell is wrong with you?!

I hadn't ever seen a Vincent Price movie! That's why I've been doing this horror film tradition. This was the year of Price!

And "The Revenge of Frankenstein" was clearly made by Canadians. Close, it was UK. If it was Canadian it would be far cheaper and far far more hilariously bad. I remember back in the late 80s seeing a Canadian made movie on TV and in an outdoor scene someone dived into a pool of water and you could hear the echoing of sound off the walls of the studio. The editing was very very bad. And cheap.

And "The Revenge of Frankenstein" was clearly made by Canadians. Close, it was UK. Frankenstein didn't actively hug anyone, he just politely ignored his numerous self-created problems and panicked over his substandard work.

I'm planning on going out to see Silent Hill: Revelation with a friend of mine when it comes out on Friday the 26th. I'm looking forward to it and I hope it'll be better than the live-action Resident Evil movies.

Based on the casting I already know at least one character that will die.

Sean Bean as--oh, god dammit, Harry Mason/Christopher Da Silva. Just like Silent Hill 3, I guess. Most of his characters die, but in style, apparently.

The Thing is fantastic if you like special effects, and if you don't it's still a very solid suspense film.
