Obsidian's hinting at a new RPG that they're currently working on. No confirmation on anything yet beyond this picture. Although, it could be Dungeon Siege 4, and if that's the case I'll be disappointed. But Josh Sawyer, the lead developer for Fallout: New Vegas, has been commenting on it, so it might be his next project.

I don't think it's DS 4. It better not be that series needs to die.
Looks like a new IP.

If you preorder now, you get a belt that reduces the cooldown on Clobberin' Time by 15% and a DLC mission with a Stan Lee cameo.

I think Kreia is writing these meandering, confusing as all hell quotes for them......
Seriously though I'm excited to see this. After not particularly caring for New Vegas, not playing Alpha Protocol and being so disappointed by KotOR 2, I'm actually really looking forward to being able to 'get' and share this Obsidian love that Knight and some of you have!

I don't know how excited I can get for this. It's pretty much the fantasy Wasteland 2, what with the Kickstarter thing, except that I have to wait a year longer and pay five dollars more.

Infinity engine?
I'm less interested now. While it might be flexible for making RPGs it is clunky as all hell to play by today's standards. I respect Buck greatly but in some respects he is living a bit too much in the past.

Unless I missed an inside joke, which I really think I did here, I don't think they're actually using the Infinity Engine, but rather just taking inspiration from the games that did. I'm guessing that they'll probably end up using Unity like inXile with Wasteland 2.
They've also gone on record that they're not really big fans of the AD&D system that those old games used, so it'll probably be something more modern in all respects.

The joke you missed Knight is that the interviewer goes by the name buck on Gamebanshee. I commented that I respect him greatly and Buch ran with it.
You may be right about the game engine but I haunted that site for a long time and I know Buck and several others there are really hoping to use that clunky old engine. I think maybe he let his excitement get the better of him. Which is refreshing given how cynical he has gotten in recent years.
