He just NOW got married?! The man's been bald since 1901! To a woman half his age, too!

Wait, Patrick Stewart isn't gay? I guess I just assumed he was and was poking fun at himself in that one episode of Frasier...

It would seem not. There was some confusion when it was announced that Sir Ian McKellen was marrying him, but it was the dastardly English language and its double verb options for "Marry" at fault. He officiated at the wedding (in a ball pit).

With so many eccentricities coming from one guy I can understand the confusion.
Also the way he he has not properly aged throughout my 37 years is downright creepy and awesome at the same time.

Well to be fair, he did age prematurely. He just stayed dormant once he reached maturity.

This is awesome. I love reading news stories about people who do honourable things, and this one is awesome. I willk say, though, that it is a little sad that whenever a news story like this pops up detailing someone doing the right thing / doing an honourable thing, it is seen as a surprise - because, although there are clearly a lot of good people in this world, it's the bad things that get reported on and the good stories are unfortunately rare. So, to the young man in this article, kudos to you for being awesome!

I heard they were going to do this last week. I had no idea just how all out they were going to go with this though.
That. Is. Awesome.

Amy Adams is one classy lady!I really love this woman's acting talent, though I've only seen her in a few roles - she's beautiful and talented, and now here's proof that she's a very caring woman as well... If only more people would show the respect she showed to those who truly deserve it.

Wow, this story just broke my heart... This poor elephant, named Raju, was held captive for 50 years (!!), was horribly abused, and was finally rescued in a heroic effort to save him, and many many kudos to the wonderful people ( a team of 10 veterinarians and wildlife officials, 20 forestry department officers and six policemen) who rescued him! The part that got to me was not only the torture this poor animal went through his whole life, but that he seemed to know he was being saved, and the elephant actually wept after the spiked shackles were removed from his legs... spiked shackles!! Poor thing... I hope he can learn now what freedom and safety feels like...
