Power is the ultimate aphrodisiac, and Shepard is very powerful. There is much truth here as well. Example: Aria isn't the best-looking Asari we meet. However, her power and confidence both serve to make her more alluring than some of the other Asari in the game. At least that's how I see it.

I actually find power very unattractive, I think. Maybe that's why Aria seems less attractive than Stalin to me.

I'm not sure whether this proves Buch or Meironmaiden right, but what the hey. Now I'm not an attractive, successful woman. But that seems like a lot, over the space of a few months military service. Hey, two out of three isn't bad.

What... the... frack? Ok... Linders did explain a little about Chrischan, and this link explained a little more. What I don't understand is, how the hell does this irritant have a following at all?

Why do people find train wrecks so fascinating? Or car accidents, or watch NASCAR for the accidents? People like following twisted fucked up shit and Chris Chan is no different.
I really do not have the lack of self respect needed to expose myself to too much of him.

I strongly disapporve of the Chris-Chan phenomenon. He's a disturbed, presumably-autistic man whose massive problems involve him filming himself at his worst, documenting his life for people to laugh at.
I'm pretty much repulsed by the following he has. Let's all laugh at the wierdo. Har har. If only the internet had a system where you could throw stones at him, eh.

I don't see how he's funny in any way, or amusing to watch... if he really is as autistic as he claims, then I feel bad for him... but If he is just using his 'autistim' as an excuse for bad behavior, then it is an insult to real autistic people. I have a small cousin who is autistic and he does not act like Chris-Chan in any way at all... in fact, my cousin is adorable and just seems a little shy and very focussed and sort of one-track minded... but he's not like Chris-Chan.
I also do not like laughing at weird behavior unless it is really funny and is coming from someone who wants to be laughed with... like a comedian.
The whole Chris-Chan thing frightens me a little...

I think the thing with Chris-chan is that he uses his (high-functioning) autism as a shield for his manchild-ish behaviour. There is no earthly reason why a thirty year old man with a relatively mild condition should be living with his parents, threatening kids with death and repeatedly running over a nice Jewish guy in his car.

Obviously there is a reason, because he's doing it. I get that it's insulting how he used his autism as a shield, but nonetheless, this is a man whose life is messed up and whose personality is shot to hell. And who films himself, which sure as hell does not help. Whatever the thing to do is here, it sure as hell isn't 'point an laugh'. Come on. I live with my parents too, by the way. So does my brother, 32 years old. We have our problems.

Nothing wrong with living with one's parents, unless one is doing so in order to avoid responsibility. I lived with my ex for 4 years, in a room-mates kind of capacity (we were a couple in name only, with no real feelings beyond friendship), and when he and I split up, I moved back in with my parents for a year - until I got sick of having my every decision and pretty much my entire lifestyle criticised by my parents - my father got on my case for my financial habits, and my mother got on my case for my appearance and the fact that I was starting to accept the fact that I might not ever have a boyfriend again (she is thrilled that I am with Linders now, BTW - she thinks he's awesome ;D). I moved into my own apartment after living with my parents for a year, but I might have stayed in their house longer if we didn't have so much conflict over my lifestyle.
