We at least know that the series' pilot exists. Whether we'll actually see it before the end of the year is uncertain. BSG has another prequel! If it really is all about space explosions this time (NBC Universal pulled down the video before I could see it), I think I'll pass. Especially since we already know how it all ends.

I loved BSG's intro miniseries, the first season, and most of the second. Then I kept slavishly watching the rest in hopes that the downward spiral would reverse itself. Only it kept turning out worse than my worst expectations. So, sorry, not interested any more.

I still haven't finished the last season all the way through, but I saw the last episode when it aired and got a bit weirded out. Loved the miniseries, and most of the first season (until President Roslin's odd religion excursions started getting overbearing). I really liked all the drama around Battlestar Pegasus and New Caprica, but immediately after that, things started to get weird.
Like... why couldn't Starbuck and Apollo just work things out?!

I know right! Those two...I just want to slam their head's together and go 'COME ON!' Still dont know how she came back from...yeah, it's weird. Space Jesus and such. Got both the mini series and Razor in my dvd Collection, it;s up there with Babylon 5.
I did like the series Caprica, it was a different tone then BSG but I still loved.

I'm working my way through the series and the whole "Gaius as the Chosen One/ bringer of God to the masses" in the last season annoys the hell out of me. I'm still co-chair of the "Gaius, Meet Airlock" committee.

I think he's the reason I quit the series.

He is a bit of a an asshole...why do women sleep with him again? Fixed. And Baltar seems to attract the same kind of women who write love letters to serial killers. Either that, or the show's writers were doing some serious fantasizing with his character. /pauses On second thought, it's entirely likely the writers fantasized that a guy-- even a narcissistic genius who kills off most of humanity because he couldn't "keep it in his pants"-- would be even remotely redeemable and desirable to many misguided women.
