I'll see what the concept is before I cheer or jeer as is appropriate.

I'm ready to feel both victorious and uplifted.
Mass Effect won't be the same without the Citadel, though. It's ME1 incarnation is one of my favourite places in vidya.

They also announced they're using the Frostbite Engine instead of Unreal Engine 3, which I think is a fantastic start right off the bat. I love that engine, and it can possibly mean more opportunities for more open maps, exploration and destructable environments. No more corridors, BioWare! xD

Yeah, the Unreal Engine is really starting to show it's tired ol' age. This news alone is quite exciting.

I'm pretty sure Bioware will find some way to make it all tunnels given their obsession with same. I didn't mind the Unreal Engine. Aside from the one body type for men and one for women that is. I'm sure it's simple to work with, making it have value in that sense.

Frostbite is EA's internal engine, since they own DICE, so they wouldn't have to dish out licensing fees to Epic Games for future games. Nice bit of money saved right off the bat there. Also, I didn't notice this, but Casey Hudson won't be the project director for the next Mass Effect game. He'll be on as executive producer, but the people who are making the "Omega DLC" are in charge. BioWare Montreal is taking over from Edmonton, so that'll mean a new team and everything. Wowzers. o.O gamerant.com/mass-effect-4-story-playable-alien-races/Fresh talent might not be a bad thing, and the last thing I played out of Montreal was Deus Ex: Human Revolution, so I dunno. They're also looking into playable alien races!

Is it me, but I'm less enthused about ME at the moment? I wish I could share your excitement, but I couldn't.

Wasnt Assassins Creed: Brotherhood made in Montreal? Ubisoft i know, but still. Exactly my point. They are not Ubisoft nor Eidios, plus didn't BioWare Montreal made the Arrival DLC in the first place?

I guess. Still, it's multiplayer. I've yet to see them showing their storytelling presentation that rivals the Edmotion branch.
