So, I was playing through the City Elf origin with my little brother and I stumbled upon dialogue between the Warden and Duncan about the City Elf's mother Adaia. So basically Duncan had scouted Adaia out as a possible Grey Warden recruit many years earlier.
So now my curiousity is piqued. I want to write a story about Adaia and Duncan and explore the reasons why he did not recruit her (he said Valendrian the elder convinced him that Adaia's place was with her husband). Second opinions? Do you think this is a story worth pursuing?
Also I have absolutely no titles in mind. Every time I start brainstorming, I come up with a blank.

That's a pretty neat angle of attack for a Dragon Age story. I missed that conversation completely, I think. Or maybe just forgot about it.
Any story that sounds interesting enough for you to explore would be worth pursuing, and since there's very little that's been said of their relationship (canonically speaking), it gives you the freedom to do pretty much whatever you want, character-wise and story-wise.
Maybe Valendrian knew that Adaia was pregnant (with... you?), and that's why he didn't want her to go with Duncan? This could be after Duncan and Adaia's adventure, or something.
You should give it a try!

I remember the conversation. Sounds like a fascinating story.

Of course there will be a dwarf! They are amazing, especially Varric. He was among the few redeeming points in DA2. But, yeah. I'm definitely working on it now! Thanks all
