Depends on how you write it, but the Turians value public service whatever form that takes. They would maybe even view it highly if she did what was possible given whatever infirmity she has...

Well, she did have bone cancer. While she did recover from it, but only just after they hacked her left arm off when they found the tumor growing in critical stages. Hence that's why she had a cybernetic arm in the first place. I like to imagine that she had under gone some sort of therapy that involves some sort of use of element zero for a while, a bit like chemotherapy or radiation therapy in our time. Hence the idea of her trying to recover what's left of her health afterwards. She'll won't have full stamina or strength like most of her turian peers at that time.
I guess I'll have her intelligence empathise by having her digging into books and maintaining their historical records, since turians seemed to highly treasured their historians according to the codex. Besides, being a historian plays a big part in the "Paragons of the Hierarchy" fan-comic, with her uncovering the real story behind the disappearance of the missing Legion a few decades ago.
I'll write up her backstory that she did went through boot camp for few basic training she can muster for one year, before starting out her training as a scholar. While making sure that she doesn't have the necessary skills to make her being proficient in combat. You know... like some SIs, Shepard, Miranda, etc. I think that sounded plausable and hopefully it didn't go into the Mary Sue territory.

Well as long she cant take down a mech with her handgun, i'm not calling her one. Besides having had bone cancer does help in not being a Mary Sue.

Well Loki Mechs go down pretty easy. Shepard can usually bring down Ymir Mechs with a heavy pistol with some nice accurate head shots as well. Kinda makes them all seem like crap to me. lol

Yeh...they're pretty lame for security guards, like the battle droids from Star Wars.

And the Fenris mechs...
I mean really, what kind of fool comes up with dog inspired security mechs? How does that make any sense? The Lokis are partially justified by having a ranged attack but the Fenris mechs are truly junk only a junkie could like the idea of. And characters in game were calling them "dogs." Bah!

Guard dogs, that's basically the reason why they invented the fenris mechs in the first place. Come to think about, I could think up a few good reasons they would keep them around as an alternative to guard dogs. You don't have to worry about providing food and medical supplies for them, only an occasional maintenance and calibrations would do the trick and most importantly, they don't shit everywhere.
As for Shepard managed to blow up a YMIR with just a shitty pistol. Come on, it's Shepard. She's such a badass that no one is going to bat an eyelid if she managed to punch out the Reapers in ME3, let alone a giant shitty mech. Also there's no way that anyone could be the same league as her, not even Ash can hold a candle to her despite being a Spectre agent now...

So it's official, Ashley/Kaiden is a Spectre?
Well I got one thing right at least...

As unlikely as it seems, yes, yes they are.

Yeah they are... and they were about to take the helm of the Normandy, while my Shepard was close to being locked behind bars, due to the events from Arrival.

Hate Arrival being canon. But to be fair, i woudl've picked someone else to give the keys to the Normandy though. But then again Grunt woud smack it headlong into a Reaper first...

Actually I prefer to give the keys to Garrus for the Normandy. I'm sure a little more calibrations to the system wouldn't hurt and also he did lead the fire team pretty well last time on my Bi-Polar!Shepard playthrough. I'm not giving my keys to Ash, especially seeing intro where she said in a alpha bitch tone "Yeah, (I) used to (know her)."
Also, if Ash did pry the keys off, I can't wait for my Shepard scream incoherently in ME3 at Ash till she's freak out enough to hand over the keys back. Stupid Arrival. It made my Shepard holding the idiot ball again. Come on, even bi-polar!Shepard is crazy but not stupid.
Back to the topic, according to Nihlus' profile, he was raised outside of turian space. When he enlisted into the Hierarchy Military, most of the turians looked down to him for being 'outsider'. So basically being raised beyond the borders of Hierarchy Space is being frown upon? What about being raised in Citadel space, but not within the Hierarchy territory. Like growing up on the Citadel Station, asari, salerian, hanar and god (spirits) forbid, human territory?
Would most turians look down at a turian who was raised in Alliance space, especially if she was adopted by Garrus and Shepard in the first place? I'm just asking.

Dunno...Shepard is pretty hardcore for saving the universe.

True, but still, it doesn't change the fact that protagonist would be treated differently in some way. And I know it's not the lavishing type like the Mary Sue variety. Even if they didn't look down at her, I think they are more likely putting a bit of pressure on her, you know thinking that she'll live up to her step-parents reputation and all.
Hmm... I've probably answer that question myself already. Thanks. Now I know what to write realistically with this comic.
