Actually a few dodgy things have been happening to me lately, but here is one worth noting.
I bought a frozen pizza from a non-brand manuafacturer. Apparently these people think 'pizza' is Italian for 'enormous piece of burned bread with some kind of tomato flavouring'.

Don't forget waxy, untasteable cheese.

These people appear to have forgotten the cheese!

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles would be shocked at this development.

I had bad days before, but this one is kinda pretty bad, at least for this year. Sure I burnt my pinky badly enough that I can't do some art today, whatever. But then my mum was throwing up a lot today, this time I'm not sure why.
Fortunately, that whole thing was calmer now, thanks to some old Chinese medicine trick, still it made me worried considering she's old. Really worried about her.

Ohhh, sorry to hear about that till.
I hope your mother gets better. Mine is getting up there in years too. I'm not ready for that inevitability yet.

My mother should be ok for now, but yeah. Whenever she gets sick, not only it made me worried, but it also serves me a grim reminder that I try to spend the time with her well, before that day comes.

One of the lenses in my glasses has been loose for a couple of years. Not really repairable as the screw was stripped too. No big deal, lens pops out, I pop it back in and tighten it down as much as it will let me.
Not this time, the lens is lost and I it's the one for my crappier eye too.I have a health plan but I still need to shell money out up front it. Money I don't have. Sometime next month I'll have to hit the discount place across the harbour. No the best quality but the lowest prices in the city. It's not super desperate as my vision is good enough to drive with uncorrected if I needed to, but I ca already feel eye strain happening and it hasn't even been a full day yet.

That sucked though, Linders.
Speaking of health quibbles, my asthma condition has came back with a punch to airways lately. While it's not bad as the ones in my childhood, I've breathe a lot of relievers lately, to the point I have to start over again with my daily doses of preventers. The side effect kinda made me loose my energy just enough I feel creatively tired, but hopefully it will pass.

Have you considered a Monocle?

That really sucks, Tillian - I hope you feel better soon. I've been asthmatic since I was 11 or 12 and there were a few times in my teenage years when my parents had to rush me to hospital in the middle of the night due to me having an attack and my inhalers not working... it's scary, and it sucks. I've been (thankfully) attack-free for the last few years, and have been able to stop using my inhalers, but I'm always afraid it'll start up again...
So my best wishes to you for a good recovery...

Have you considered a Monocle? If you're referring to Linders' loss of his glasses, I love this mental image you've put here! Linders with a monocle - I may need to draw that... thanks for that giggle, Clint!
