So those I used to call best friends basically just cut me out of their life entirely, telling me they don't want to see me again.

Yeah, sorry to hear it Cali. To be frank, considering what they did before, it's probably for the best to forget them. They are the kind of folk you don't want to hang out with.
Honestly, this is a shit month to most people I guess.
My end is just nothing a but sad sack of shit in the late. Dad is in hospital atm, over heart problems and internal bleeding. Got rejected from Uni, I'm back to fucking square one. Then my depression came back.
Which is why I haven't been posting in the late.

So I am completely laid up this week now from breaking my ankle. Well a sprain so bad that bone fragments were ripped out and are floating around my ankle and shredding my flesh with each movement. I have nothing about admiration for people who make it look easy to move around with crutches. I live on the third floor of a building with no elevators. I can put 0 weight on my ankle without pain. Stairs are officially my worst enemy. Silver lining. I was a little pissed at having to work Christmas eve. I don't have to worry about that now. I don't even know how long I'll be off my feet. I have an appointment with the orthopedic clinic next week. They will likely tell me I need surgery.
Merry Christmas folks. I sincerely hope yours is better and involves less pain than mine.

Update on the ankle. No surgery which is good. I have a walking cast on right now which I have been told not to put weight on (no irony here, it'll be a few days more before my ankle can take it) another full week at the very least off of work and probably more as I can't get this thing wet and kitchen floors are nothing if not wet. Pain is reduced and I have learned how not to be a threat to myself and others while using them.
I am wondering if the local children's hospital was raided for my wraps though. They have snowman designs on them.

So my cast comes off at January 19. I see my doctor to set up documents for sick leave on Jan 23. How fucked up is that?

So, I spent a good portion of yesterday in the Hospital Emergency Room, and for the first time in my life, I actually had to undergo sedation for surgery. I'm not happy about this, since it means I can't go to school today or possibly tomorrow while home care nurses come to my home to take further care of the wound. Also, I really really don't like being sedated. I can't remember what happened during the procedure, and I hate being unaware of my surroundings. The doctor told me beforehand that being sedated would make me feel "like you're drunk!". To which I replied: "I don't drink, I've never been drunk, I don't know what that feels like..."The good news is, the pain I was feeling before the surgery is greatly reduced, and now it only really hurts if I bump the wound / bandaged area, as opposed to hurting so bad at all times that I wanted to just cut off the offending body part to relieve the pain. So, silver linings, I guess?

I was slammed with the worst hay fever case, where I've ended up in hospital twice in regards to trigger a nasty asthma attack. Took me four weeks to recover and it happened while I was rushing to get my assignment done.
Thankfully it's over and I got my assignments handed in on time.
